Is it overpriced? Yes, there's no question about that. And if you're looking for quality donuts, this might not a hundred percent be the place for that.
But if you're looking for some place to take children where it's cute and they have photo ops outside and inside, then I would definitely come by and give it a try. It gave me Disneyland vibes where it felt fun and colorful, and our kids went crazy for it.
We didn't use the drive through, but I personally don't see why you would because going inside is half of the fun. They have a huge selection, and unfortunately, because we let our children choose their own donuts, they got ones that they actually didn't even like, they just liked the look of them. The donuts themselves are extremely sweet.
My kiddo wanted the one that looked like their mascot, the dollop of pink frosting, and it was completely just cream. Each of them took a couple of bites of the donut and left them, and so it was a waste of money because we had to just throw them away. But it was still fun to go and see and something out of the box to do.
Personally, I like the dubai chocolate donut.I think it's definitely worth checking out at least once! Especially if you have young children, or if you get excited over things kids get excited over...

I specifically mentioned that I am allergic to nuts and kindly asked the staff member to change their gloves and place my items in a separate bag. Unfortunately, they didn’t follow through, and my items were placed right next to a peanut butter donut that someone in my party had ordered. I politely reiterated my request, asking for my items to be placed in a separate bag and for fresh replacements since the ones I initially received were already exposed to potential contamination.
Despite my explanation, the staff member almost took the same items from the box to put into the new bag. I had to firmly clarify that I needed fresh ones because the original items had already touched the peanut butter.
I understand that not every establishment is perfect when it comes to handling nut allergies, but if someone communicates a severe allergy and requests basic precautions—like clean gloves, uncontaminated items, and a separate bag—it’s essential to accommodate those needs.
Now I’m left unsure if I might have an allergic reaction, which is incredibly...
Read morePinkbox is another doughnut shop that is actually a bakery. The prices for doughnuts range in price from $1.70 each (very limited choice) to upwards of $3 per doughnut. I had 2 basic donuts, glazed and coconut crumble. The glazed was called OG something. The reason I gave the place 3 stars is because the doughnuts were tasty. However I can get those same doughnuts, same taste for about 12 to 15. Here they would cost 17.
In regards to whether I dined in or took out, laughably, the only place to sit and eat is a small bench in the corner. IMO a doughnut shop should have at least a small seating area. As someone who was traveling, the only other option for me was to sit in my car and eat. Maybe if they had spent less money on building a pretty (useless) building exterior they could have made some interior store improvements or, perish the thought, actually charged a reasonable price for the doughnuts.
Again, this is my honest opinion. Others may disagree but I know, I will not return to any...
