WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I never thought I'd ever rate Aarons anything less than 5 stars. However, after nearly 11 years of loyal purchases the customer service is terrible!!! The manager of the Lawton Sheridan Rd is rude and disrespectful! I suppose he was too busy attending to his 6 yr old daughter whom he had at work with him to give his customers the proper attention that they deserved. I don’t know if it was the combination of having to yell at his daughter every 5 min while also tending to customers or what, but his customer service skills were very poor and customer service experience is non-existent at this location. This combination diminishes any value or pleasure that one might derive from the merchandise. And let's face it, a lot of the furniture quality is on the poor side. If you have been purchasing consistently from Aarons you migh have witnessed the changes they began making to merge the 2 local Lawton stores in 2018. I suppose Aarons is too busy growing to actually bother with customer experience, fairness, disclosure or satisfaction! I guess they are not interested in doing! All I can say is, there are other rental stores just like Aarons that are more customer-centric! better customer service and definitely better business knowledge. Read moreI am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with the Duncan GM. I rented a bedroom suite from them a week and a half ago and the mattress was not soft enough so I called and explained this to him and he said to come back and choose a new one.so I did.of course it took 3days to get it delivered. Then it was not the one I chose,it was even more firm than the first. I called and explained it to the man who answered the phone and he said he would tell his GM and have him address this. I called back several hours later and the same man told me he had given the GM, Elvis, my message but that cooperate was there and he had been busy with them. he also said he would remind him of my problem.several hours later I called again and got the GM Elvis.he was extremely rude, called me a list, said it was the same mattress I had chosen. I told him that no, someone must have made a mistake, my friend was with me,saw and sat on the one I chose, and also on the one I received and knew as I did that they were most definitely not the same. He told me he knew they were and that if, he even had another one, that he would need time to research and see if he could even find one.not today or tomorrow but as long as it took. Read moreMy overall experience was great until they took my refrigerator in for repairs two months ago and there wasn't any communication from them until I called after a month to find out what was going on. I have one payment left to pay on it and they called last week to schedule the delivery because it is finally fixed. I have been sitting here all day 7/12/2023 waiting for them to call and confirm I'm available ( delivery was scheduled between 11-3 ) I call to find out if they are still bringing it today because I haven't heard from anyone just to be told that they are holding my refrigerator for one payment that I owe them. My main point is communication goes a long way in customer service and they are really lacking in that department. I intend to make my last payment ($80) and already told them as much but to hold it for one payment after already having it fo two months is kind of dumb.
