Versace — Local services in Leyden Township

I am extremely disappointed with this store, despite being a regular customer for two years. The main reason for my frustration is the absolute unprofessionalism of the manager, who stubbornly stood her ground even when it was clear that the store was in the wrong. She refused to acknowledge her mistake, even after the salesperson who assisted me confirmed my words.

The Situation:

I purchased underwear, and during checkout, I was NOT informed that this item was non-exchangeable and non-returnable. This brand has its own sizing chart, which I was unfamiliar with. When I tried on the item at home, I realized it was way too big. Since I was not warned about the no-exchange policy at checkout, I returned to the store the next day, hoping to exchange the item for the correct size.

I live an hour away from the mall, so the trip was not a small effort. However, I was confident that the store would correct its mistake. Instead, the manager immediately refused to help, coldly stating that it was my problem and that returns or exchanges were not allowed.

I asked: “Why wasn’t I informed about this at the time of purchase?” The manager arrogantly replied that she was sure the salesperson had told me. I then suggested that we go and ask the salesperson directly. When we did, the salesperson clearly confirmed that he had NOT mentioned that the item was non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

And what did the manager do? She ignored this fact and continued to insist on her position!

This is absolutely outrageous! Such behavior from the staff is a disgrace to the brand. It is completely unacceptable for customers to be misled and then refused any resolution.

After this experience, I will never shop at Versace again. I do not recommend this location! Horrible service, rude management, and a complete disregard...

This is the best store hands down in the entire mall. Some of us enjoy the fashion, quality and look of luxury designers. We have literally been in every store in the mall and we frequent it weekly. Even if we don't go into Versace every time we visit the mall, the sales associate, Oscar, is like family and will sure to wave to us as we pass by. Oscar goes above and beyond what any associate at any store has in that mall. Gucci can have as many lines out the door, but those associates barely glance at you- which is why I have yet to spend anything at that store. Oscar has an unmatchable balance between professionalism and warmth from the minute you step into the store. My experience here was horrible. The woman working at door didn't even give me a chance to come in. I walked up to the door to ask her a question regarding belts. The door stayed closed and she spoke to me through the door. I didn't understand what she was saying. I had never been to a Versace store before and wanted to see what I would find since I really wanted a Versace belt I seen online, but had an issue in what size to get. So thought it would be best to go in person. I felt like the woman was racial profiling. She must've thought I didn't have any money or that I wouldn't buy anything.
