I visited Denver Mattress Company with my parents last weekend, and the service was nothing short of exceptional.
We were looking for a decent quality mattress at a low price point, which is not what most sales people want to hear! But our sales associate, Kip Thomas, was completely professional and didn’t try to “up-sell” us at all. He listened to what we wanted, showed us a variety of mattresses in our price range, and explained all the options to us. Every time he quoted a price, it was the complete price, including tax & delivery, so we knew exactly what we’d be paying.
Kip answered all our questions and really helped us to understand the difference between the types of mattress, firmness, etc. When one mattress we were interested in had a delivery lead time that wouldn’t fit our schedule, he offered some great, creative stopgap solutions.
Ultimately we settled on a floor model, for which Kip offered us a discount. We received a great mattress for an extremely competitive price.
Delivery was also a breeze. The bed was delivered three days after our visit (they deliver three times a week). They called the evening before to give us a 2-hour delivery window, and the mattress was delivered before the first hour was up. The delivery people were quick and efficient, and they took all waste packaging materials with them.

Read moreTook advantage of a labor day mattress sale for the purple mattress, over all they were kind, asked what I was looking for, helped me narrow down which purple mattress would fit my needs and even honored the labor day sale that Purple was running with free pillows and sheets (which is super epic! I was super happy about it).
The only reason I gave them 3 stars is for the lack of communication when my products arrived and the lack of motivation to find out where my order was. They did contact me about my mattress arrival, however I had to painfully contact them about the rest of my order. It took about a week after my mattress arrived plus me calling them to get my pillows and another 2 weeks to get my sheets after walking in and asking about it (even after they said they would call me when they arrive which they did not). I even ordered a mattress protector from the Purple website and I received that first before I even got my pillows and sheets
Working in management in customer service/retail myself I have higher expectations when it comes to contacting customers about order arrivals and understanding the importance of getting the product to the customer in a timely manner.
Will I shop there again? Maybe Will I order though them again? No

I called and spoke to Jeff a couple of weeks ago and he was very helpful on the phone, so when I went in the store today I was really hoping for his expertise for the final decision. Jeff was really helpful in narrowing my choice without any pressure. He knows their products thoroughly so it was only necessary to know what it was I wanted. Such an easy process and so fast, too! Jeff even made choosing the accessories a simple process! My entire time in the store was no more than 45 minutes .
