If I could rate this place 0 out of 10, I would. The customer service is truly atrocious. My fiancé, our 3-year-old son, and I were shopping for a gift for my mother-in-law when we encountered extremely rude behavior from a staff member named “Terri”, an older woman wearing a sling. She made inappropriate and judgmental comments under her breath about our son, including calling him “out of control,” which was completely uncalled for.

Our son was well-behaved, curious, yes, but simply excited by the stuffed animals and kid-friendly items around him. That’s to be expected in a store that sells children’s merchandise. The final straw was as we were walking out, when she muttered, “Hope you’re gonna pay for that,” insinuating we were stealing a small keychain my son had received from Santa’s Village.

The judgment, disrespect, and assumption of wrongdoing were completely unacceptable. Needless to say, we will never return or support this...

If you're hoping to be insulted as a customer, then this is the place for you. Went in to buy hiking poles - I'd forgotten mine in MD. I was shown 2 displays - one with high end poles, and another with basic ones. I turned to the basic ones, and the employee said, across the store, "Too expensive, huh?" When I bought the basic poles, he chuckled and said, "Yeah, those are good in a pinch or if you're not really a hiker." These basic poles served me quite well on Franconia Notch. Upon arriving 10 minutes before close the employee said just so you know we close in 10 minutes. Which was a fair warning. The problem was the next comment was the issue which was "I am not messing around with closing time" we promptly left as it was clear that we were not wanted there. We are very understanding people glad to be respectful of others time. That said who treats people let alone customers like that.
