I guess I could of looked at the reviews before blindly deciding on a quick bite to eat. First impressions is EVERYTHING when u step into a place to dine into. Let me tell u the first impression of the young girl at the counter clearly said "i hate my job." My mom and I are on vacation for a bit so we stopped here, we ordered 1 small pizza and mozzarella sticks. Off the rip i grab my beverage from force of habbit. The girl rang us up and my mom added a beverage after it. The blonde girl with glassses just couldnt be bothered to tell my mom how much her drink was after she had handed her a handful of change from the first transaction. I was disgusted in that. Next, we went to find a seat at one of the booths, well the booths are all ripped in half "fixed" with duct tape, like come on. If the booths arent ripped the tables are wobbly. My mom and I decided to sit at a table in the middle. Finally our food comes out and she brings us the mozzarella sticks , i asked my mom to find paper plates and she couldnt find them, she voiced to me that because of the inital transaction she didnt wanna bother the girl for paper plates. So i took it upon myself to get up and ask. Im honestly not to sure what that cashier was doing because everytime i looked up, she was on her phone hiding behind the pizza boxes while the other 2 employees looked like they were trying to handle the place. The mozzarella sticks i highly advise NOT ordering them. You can tell they come straight from a freezer thrown into the fryer and served. It just really wasnt enjoyable. The pizza itself was okay. Very greesy at the top the crust was almost like eatin cardboard. Im not too impressed if im being honest. On my way out as I was voicing to my mom even though this wasnt a bar, it could benefit from a john taffer revamp of the place, we noticed the trash was OVERFLOWING, i was practicly playing jenga with our trash. As we were leaving i said "lets give this girl one more chance maybe its been a hard day for her" i look over and shes on her phone AGAIN.Not even the slightest look up to say "i hope u enjoyed, have a good day" nothing. The service was awful. Pretty sad seeing as that place definately sees alot of tourist. I guess its mediocre for a quick bite but dont expect a whole lot from them. Expect to sit...
Read moreWhile not outstanding, this pizza was definitely a league above some other I've had in the past. Im not one who's easily disappointed by pizza nor food in general, however, while I was eating the pizza I ordered I did experience slight flaws. Not To make it seem like the pizza was bad in any capacity, I feel like it has potential to be great, unfortunately falling a little flat for my liking. If there were to be more options (crust, toppings, etc) I feel like we could have a very good authentic New York style pizzeria, but there was only one kind of crust and style to choose from. Admittedly, I was frankly disappointed by this, however this isnt inherently bad. The second flaw was the pizza was very greasy. Now I know im slightly nitpicking as pizza is notorious for being greasy, but I felt as though it took away from the eating experience as we already have a thin crust, this grease made it very soggy and limp. This goes without saying I enjoyed the pizza while eating it. I found the crust to be very good and one of the best crusts on a pizza I've ever had, but the let down was the under carriage. The service was good, I felt respected and treated kindly by the staff and the scenery was authentic. It made me feel like I was in a New York pizza place. I won't go on and on about how this pizza could have been improved, however I will give it this. It was a very okay pizza and for the flaws it had, it made me not hungry anymore, not quite full...
Read moreSpending 20 years living in New Haven, CT and in close proximity to New York City I developed a taste for good pizza and most places disappoint with prefab crust and fake cheese. So when ordering from Enzo’s I was skeptical of the reviews. Well I must say for pizza outside of New York and my home New Haven I was pleasantly surprised. Is the pizza as good as Pepe’s, Modern or Ernies in New Haven, no of course not, those aren’t places your likely to find in the middle of the white mountains of New Hampshire. The pizza was better than just about any pizza I have had outside the cities previously mentioned. We ordered a large pepperoni and a large sausage. Both the sausage and pepperoni had a nice bite to them. The sauce was tasty. Pizza was thin crust and I ate half in one sitting. That was also a testament to how much I like it. The staff was very friendly and I really enjoyed talking to the young girl at the counter. We discussed dogs, casinos and country music for quite some time. Friendly people all around. Enzo’s will go on my Google list of good places to eat in Lincoln/Woodstock New Hampshire. I also rate them at 4 stars which is a first. No pizza place beyond the others I mentioned previously score above a 3 and I’m typically kind at the. Enzo’s deserves the 4. I look forward to returning next year....
