Jared Vault — Local services in Locust Grove

Myself and my soon to be fiancé came into the store at 7 o’clock one evening. We had no intentions on buying, purely based off of an experience at a previous Jared (the location in lithonia, they were a big turn off), but our experience at this location was totally different . Me.Cion, assistant general manager, greeted us as soon as we walked in and asked us what we would like to look at. We told her engagement rings, and she began showing us everything (from low to high, she didn’t care that we looked younger and assumed that we would be looking to buy a cheaper ring, because we weren’t but that’s what the other Jared location did). I told Ms.Cion, from the beginning, that we weren’t looking to buy today and that we still had some other places we wanted to go. Even after telling her this, that didn’t turn her away from us at all. We felt like she was trying to teach us about diamonds and rings, not just trying to sell them to us (coming from sales, this means a lot to me! Cion’s whole resent arkon was just great! She was very passionate about what she was selling) Cion spent a hour just explaining what the grades meant, she would show us under the microscope what a $3k diamond vs a $5k diamond looked like. You could tell that Cion was very passion about what she does, and that she cared how we spent our money. At about 8:30 (they close at 9) we had found a ring we liked, but I told her that we wanted to go across the street to Kay jewelers to see what they had we told her that we would probably be back but we weren’t 100% sure. Well, long story short we came back at about 9:15. They had everything closed and locked up, but Cion and Anna left the box we were looking at open. They welcomed us back into the store (mind you, this is 15 mins after they closed) and we purchased the ring! I can not say enough good things about Ms.Cion and Ms.Anna! They never shoving anything down our throats, they weren’t pushy, they took so much time to make sure we knew what we were buying (even though in the beginning I told her we wouldn’t be buying), they weren’t pressuring me into financing because i was planning on paying cash (other location would still try to sell me on the financing even after being told I was paying cash). I went to the Jared's location this past Saturday looking for some new Pandora Charms and possible a new bracelet. Although, the young lady spoke, she never gave her name and simply said let me know if you need help. Once I took a few minutes to browse the poorly organized Pandora section, I asked for her assistance as there was one charm I wanted to see closer. Also, there were two other retired charm sets holders below the top charm holder that I wanted to take a look at. Before showing me the other two holders she stated, "These charms are the $200 to $300 range charms." as if I asked her for prices. That instantly turned me off from purchasing anything since she assumed I needed to know prices before even seeing the other charms. I asked what the name was of the charm on the top tier and she said, "well not all the charms have names." LIES LIES LIES. The charm is called "Glacial Beauty Charm, Swiss Blue Crystals & Clear CZ " and is priced at $90. Apparently she didn't see my two Pandora Charm bracelets with many charms already until I backed away. Then, she tried to fix everything by saying, "well we're getting more things in on the 18th if you live in the area." NOPE, I don't want to shop with you and nor do I want to give my money to this location. The other associate in the store was just as bad, didn't speak and acted as if we were in his way. I understand that retail is stressful but if you're not happy or willing to help don't take the job. And most of all don't judge people based off of what you assume. I walked in with my Husband,salespeople we were not acknowledged but they were busy with other customers so we walked around looking until one was free. When one of the ladies was finished with her customer she called a name of I guess a lady that was waiting before us. While she was waiting on that customer another walked in they all greeted that customer then another walked in right behind that one and was greeted and told that they would need to sign in tp be waited on. All the while we weren't even acknowledged at all.
