With a heavy heart I write this review. They are so strict on their return policy even when itās one day over. They claimed that the customer service line can provide an override code so they can take my return since it was only a day over, but advised me to call Thursday because it was Christmas Eve. I didnāt listen I called and they told me they lied to me thereās no such āoverride codeā. Customer service basically told me itās up to the store if they want to take it or not. I called back and they were going to take it but once they saw I purchased it in a different location they said no I have to call that location. Due to financial struggles we were not going to be able to attend out of state wedding and hoping to get the refund back for essentials like food and diapers. Reason why it took so long to return on my end is my entire family have been sick and still sick itās been a month doctors donāt know what it is, no medicine is really helping. They didnāt care they flat out said nope sorry policy. Iāve been a customer for years. It was disappointing how they donāt make any exceptions due to that I wonāt be shopping there. This really dampen the holidays. I was so down didnāt want to do anything , having 3 small toddlers it was hard. Luckily my husband is a very positive person and cheered me up. I wouldnāt recommend buying here, they donāt care about keeping customers, have no human connection, they only care about sales like any other corporation, but because of such practices thatās why they filed for bankruptcy for downsizing. I came to the Long Beach David's Bridal location with a bad taste in my mouth after the lack of clear communication and customer service I received in Costa Mesa. The Long Beach manager, Angela, was amazing! She listened to me with compassion and understanding, and helped me feel immediately comfortable. She went out of her way to ensure all my concerns were addressed with professionalism and expert customer care. When I returned for my alterations appointment, I was treated with the utmost respect and care. It felt much more like how I hoped my bridal gown experience would go: fun, exciting, and very comfortable. Lisa checked me in with a smile and gave me some great advice regarding my shoes and some dress options I was considering, all while having a wonderfully positive attitude. Hortencia was a consummate professional with her quick, excellent measuring and fitting. She even showed me a variety of options I wanted to see with the alterations while maintaining a patient, kind, and helpful attitude. The manager, Angela, oversaw the entire appointment to ensure everything went beautifully... and it absolutely did! Everyone I worked with here was incredibly kind, patient, and caring. My dress fit extremely tight on the bust area, they āremeasuredā me and I am now 3 inches bigger in my bust area. I have lost weight since my measuring date so that made absolutely no sense!!! I havenāt lifted weights, so I didnāt gain muscle either. The lady who was helping me asked if there was any way I could go back to my original weight which was absolutely MIND BLOWING because then Iād have to gain weight and Iām not sure why she wouldnāt understand that gaining weight mightāve made the problem bigger. In the end, instead of offering to fix the problem she kept saying I gained weight (despite me telling her multiple times that I have lost weight) and that they could make the dress back to its original size. It cost me $600 dollars for them to mess my dress up.
UPDATE: I was called to go back to the store to fix the problem. I was remeasured by the store manager Angela who was an angel. She truly made me feel heard and did an amazing job making sure I was well taken care of. Heather and Oak were awesome when helping me. They made sure everything fit perfectly and are rushing the process to make sure itās done on time. All in all they reassured me that I was not at fault and everything would be fixed...
