So went there today for the first and last time. I don't know if it's just me but it seems like you mess up people's orders deliberately if they don't tip you. The tea i ordered had no sweetness at all. Just bland and really, why would you do that? Was it because i didn't tip you? Believe me i hope I'm wrong but i don't think i am. Yeah gratuity is optional and not a requirement. I don't like being pressured at time of payment to tip on your little tablet thing and you don't take cash, ugh. It's awkward and i didn't feel it was necessary to tip when it's literally your job to mix the drinks and plus it's not delivery. So i don't know if in tea and coffee houses it's customary to tip the employees for handing you the drink, but whether it is or not don't be spiteful to your customers. I can also say with no ego that i consider myself a generous person and try to be charitable to bless others, but again i didn't feel it was necessary with this transaction today and I'm glad i didn't tip because you gave me a drink with no sweetness whatsoever. Thank God i have my own sugar to mix in there, but isn't that your job? So if you want tips what makes you think I'd tip you now let alone go back and wonder if you're gonna do something weird to my drink. It's not my job to give you extra money for a drink i already paid for. At that point we're even so leave it at that. I was nothing but respectful so i expect that back. You kids are young and you have to realize that people are watching you while you serve the public, so just don't do it again, you know, not filling orders correctly on purpose. It's really gross and petty, i mean c'mon grow up. And really if i happen to be wrong i deeply apologize, and i hope I'm wrong. But i swear i heard the little dude tell one of the drink makers that " He didn't tip,"then the drink guy looked right at me with a weird smile like he knew something i didn't. Then the other dude looked right at me too as he walked away from drink boy (don't know their names). And how did i know that something was gonna be wrong with the tea, dude i swear i called it and when i drank it later tonight it was bland, no sweetness, just unacceptable. I hate to think it was retaliation for not tipping, but i trust myself and what i heard and saw. Especially after discussing the sweetness level of the drink which was new to me from anywhere I've been. I told him normal sweetness for the tea which he said was 70 to 100%, it was pretty much zero. How's that normal sweetness? Yeah real funny. I mean if that's really what you guys do then you got problems, and trust me i do too, but i would never ruin orders to be spiteful. I've worked in food service when i was younger and been abused by customers, but i would never mess with their food. It's common knowledge that food service workers can do that , but like i said i hope i am wrong. I don't want to think of you guys like that and I'm sure you're nice people, but that was a total let down. You were actually the second place i went to today to order a thai tea as the first place ran out, so i went to you. But since there's other places to get a tea, your place will not be one of the options for me, i got standards. And just to let you know i didn't like having to write this review. Just don't do that to any...
Read moreHello! I usually don't write reviews but I think with the amount of times I've went to this Ding Tea I definitely should. My brother and I have been coming here for a while now and we share a lot of memories together whenever we go out to get Ding tea!
I'll share a story that just happened yesterday when we were getting our dose of boba. I'm a very timid person and usually I let my brother do all the speaking (As in ordering my boba). Today though, he thought it would be funny if he just ordered his boba and let me stand there clueless as to why he didn't say my order. I was quietly panicking and looked back between my brother (who looked like he was enjoying my pain) and back at the ordering screen. LUCKILY. The person who was taking our order had remembered our usuals and came in clutch by putting my usual into our order. My brother and I couldn't stop talking about it on the way home because honestly that was so real of him for remembering our orders like that!! I don't know the staff's name but he should def get some recognition for that clutch🗣️‼️
Also they don't have Hokkaido Oolong milk tea in the recommendations but I highly recommend it hot or cold depending on weather! My brother usually gets a mango passion tea so I'd recommend that as well! :) And I know I'm kinda exposing us rn, but thank you to all of the staff for your...
Read moreI'm glad there's a boba close by. I ordered their signature milk tea (which is the traditional black tea) and it was delicious. I read on their menu that they use non dairy creamer. You can also specify your sweetness. I choose 75% sugar and less ice as well. I thought the 75% sweetness was perfect (not too sweet and not bland) I'm glad they have parking in the back because it's difficult to find parking on the street of Atlantic. Both front & back entrance is wheelchair accessible also. I'll...
