Marshalls — Local services in Longmont

My biggest issue is the lack of men's clothing and the cost of what there is of it. Along those lines is the "clearance" items. How is a reduction of $2.00 on a $30 item really on "clearance?"

The clearance section, while we're at it - still talking men's - is in a sorry state of affairs where you can't assume that the portion of the rack you are looking actually contains the size it is representative in.

Generally, I don't understand the priciness of the clothing. If it's in Marshall's, it's because it didn't sell for the price on the original tag. In case this sounds petty, the original tag is NOT what the store it came from was actually selling it for a much lower price due to being on sale all...the....time anyhow.

Marshall's is not a high end store, it's basically a store that sells unsaleable items from other stores.

Now that I've complained, the store is relatively clean which is a plus. It's just going there hoping to get a good deal is not going to...

Last night I went here to browse for some new clothes, with my boyfriend and his friend. They are both African American gentleman, and very great young men. We were both in different areas of the store at the time. Two sales associates were passing by me, and within ears reach of me. I was completely disgusted and disturbed to hear what they were saying. Commenting towards my boyfriend and his friend, "they have been walking around and look suspicious....I am going to keep my eye on them...make sure they dont tell steal anything..." etc. I was so outraged and disgusted. I confronted and told these sales people, that my friends were not doing anything wrong, but shopping like everyone else in the store. I could see they were embarrassed and shocked to be confronted by me. I had to walk away, because I felt so outraged. They did nothing to comfort the situation or even apologize. NEVER shopping here again, prejudice and close...

Love waiting in a checkout line with no one else for 10 minutes only to watch someone walk right up to the cashier with a return and then continually be ignored after that person leaves. Instead of going all “Karen”, I just respectfully put all my items back and left. I used to shop here weekly but after feeling invisible, I don’t think I will step foot at this...
