The greasy people who work here do NOT care about customers. I used to work at taco bell years ago so I know exactly how these stores operate.
I went in at 1030am to order 2 small breakfast burritos and stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting for 1 of 3 employees to take my order. One employee walked past me and said that another employee will be right up to help. I waited patiently another 2-3 minutes for them to tell me that i HAVE to order on the kiosk, and she would not help me with a bunch of attitude.
They had 3 small orders on the screen ahead of mine.
I ordered on the kiosk paid, and waited another 2-3 minutes for them to tell me that they don't have any eggs and would not be able to make my order.
They then had to come to the counter and refund me anyways. I then asked for a manager since when you order at the kiosk it doesn't give you a paper receipt.
The girl with the initial attitude was the shift manager and she had the guy who walked past me before come up and introduce himself as the store manager.
I explained how the whole time I was waiting patiently they could have asked me to use the kiosk off the bat instead of being ignored, how they could have also told me they were out of eggs before I ordered, and how much time of ours both was wasted due to poor customer service.
The 20 something store manager didn't care, didn't apologize, and even developed a snotty lispy tone with me and just walked away stating he needed to "take care of a customer".
I'll be looking up the regional manager or franchise owners number. And until I reach someone and am satisfied these people learn how not to treat people. There are ways of messing with this business such as bathrooms, and going through the drive through and ordering tons of food slowly with no...
Read moreIs there a point where wages at the drivetheough window exceed the desire to work? Today after finishing our morning runaround, the family and I chose to patronize what once was our favorite taco bell. There is a brand new drivetheough kiosk recently redone. There was a sign over the speaker about no cash orders. Understanding a coin and yadayada shortage, this I accepted. The voice on the speaker went on unintelligibly, I was assuming they were advising me about the card only thing and I went on placing my order, first advising the voice that I couldn't understand a single word and I had a credit card. The voice stopped me and said that they were only talking online orders and doordash/grubhub. I said the app doesn't work and what was the difference was the lobby open? She just said no. I pulled to the window. I saw 2 employees leaning against the walls. The one running the window pulled her ball cap over her eyes and refused to make eye contact with me and after a 30 second stare down she reluctantly opened the window using exacerbated body language and said again how they were only taking online orders. I asked if the lobby was open she said no. I asked how she could choose to not serve us and she hung her jaw, rolled her eyes, slammed the window shut with a limp wrist and walked away. I was appalled. We drove around the building to circle back to the drivetheough behind 5 other vehicles and witnessed 3 of them drive away. When did it become okay to refuse to work when you're on the clock that pays you 20 an hour when it should pay you 10? Needless to say we drove across the street and took our run for the border...
Read moreThis place started off stellar! Then a management change clearly happened. Months before the shutdowns they would close the lobby off to people who don't have cars and not respond when you tried to walk through the drive thru. Why they did this I have no idea. Cars were still going through the drive thru fine though! So I would have to go look at other options for food. Left a message to the cooperate back then too, and never got a reply. Real shoddy.
Fast forward to now. Their lobby has been closed since the covid shutdown started last year, forcing people on foot, local employees at surrounding stores coming on their lunch break, and who knows who else to get in line with the cars and look like a dunce. Have to order ahead and tell them about your order at the window making things even longer. I have stopped going to taco bell in general because of this.
I understand and fully approve of having the lobby be unavailable for eating in. But why not have it open for strictly take out like pretty much almost all of the other fast food joints in longmont? Why force people to walk through the drive thru and risk getting clipped by a driver that is careless? I smell lawsuit if something like that ever happens.
Until their management... and I'm talking district wide, and above gets their act together on this silly issue and at least opened up the inside for strictly takeout until covid is in the past, I know I am not alone in saying I would rather wait then go spend my lunch break huffing...
