I've been in this store before, but this is the first time I purchased. I was looking for a dress to wear for my nephew's boho wedding in a field in northern California in September. I knew I'd need to start shopping early. I'd tried probably 15 different dresses next door, most in polyester, which is not my favorite, and full disclosure, I purchased a dress for just knocking around here, but didn't find THE dress I was looking for.

In contrast, at Snow, she immediately sized me up and went for dresses by two designers, one from Italy in silk, and 3 in linen from a local designer. All but one fit me and felt great. The very first one she picked out for me was ultimately the one I purchased. It is washable Italian silk and makes my body look fabulous. It also fits the look I wanted. And, believe it or not, it was the less expensive option.

I have been shopping at Snow Apparel since it opened in 2017. Snow always has something for me and the other women I shop for. Today I bought two colorful pairs of stretch pants that are perfect for spring/summer/fall: one for me and one as a gift. I have tops I've bought here before that will match perfectly. That's because Snow does not believe in "fast fashion." She selects her clothing so that individual pieces color coordinate, even across manufacturers and seasons. She now has spring blouses in creme colors that will mate nicely with the more "winter" browns you may have bought last season so that you can extend your winter wardrobe into spring. Love this place! I came here on a shopping trip with my mom, and Snow must have spent an hour with us! We were trying on clothes and dresses and talking about how she is so passionate about slow fashion. All of her clothes are fair trade, and she doesn't buy from countries that have unfair labor laws. That, in and of itself is a huge reason to buy her clothes. But also... They are so comfortable and adorable! Everything I tried on is soft and light, and every single skirt I saw had pockets!!
