I recently volunteered to join the Corale EMBRAC study through Cedars Sinai because I have had Covid and have many antibodies still a year after infection. They contacted me to be in the study and I agreed. What a total incompetence and lack of respect.
First of all, the intake guy shared that he just got the vaccine and is having bad Covid symptoms from it. We all know that vaccinated infect each other and it was total disregard for patients as the guy may shed virus as we know - look at the CDC for it.
Then, the nurse had no clue how to draw blood. She poked me and twisted and turned the needle and just couldn't draw a single drop. I could tell she didn't have the needle in the vein at all. I told her to use the other arm and she did the same thing. So,, she said, "you're my first failure today" and quit. Thank God.
I travelled one hour to the place and one hour back. They don't reimburse for gas. I donated blood 10 days ago and with a bigger needle, the people had no problem finding my vein on the first try.
