Jardine was always my dream apartment from the moment I saw it. The first time I came over, was to visit LA so I was staying with my friend who lived in Jardine. The second I was dropped off, I knew this apartment complex was in a different league from the available Valet, and private round about location with Netflix buildings surrounding. Then when I walked in and told the extremely friendly Concierge that I was there for my friend, stating her name, they knew exactly who she was. Which showed me just how tight nit this community is that the concierge knows every resident's name. So they called her, to let her know I had arrived I was then guided by the concierge to her apartment, with the security points surpassed by their on hand FOB key. That's when I realized this apartment complex was way more secure than any other . You needed access to enter the front door to the building, in the elevator to access the floor, and of course the apartment with a specific fob key. It truly felt safe, which as a woman is a huge priority. After going inside my friend's apartment, I was blown away by the quality of the features in the apartment. Starting with the kitchen, which has the most beautiful appliances I've ever seen. It was simply my aesthetic from the cupboards, to the marble slab, to the back splash. Then to go to the bathroom, the shower transported me to a Spa with its water pressure and design. Specifically the lighting in the bathroom is my favorite, with an ambient light and a motion detecting light available. Even the toilet fit the aesthetic of luxury. The blinds of the apartment was something I noticed as there was not the typical vertical plastic blinds that I'm used to having, but rather a blackout or sheer, depending on the room, horizontal fabric blinds that elevate the space entirely. The apartment is absolutely flawless. It's so rare that I could see myself instantly at home , even though I was in my friends apartment. I went with my friend to look at the amenities that Jardine has to offer, when I went through the green house and saw my most favorite feature, the coffee machine, with Kombucha on tap. In all my years I have never seen that before within an apartment lobby. I actually felt like I was in an alternate reality where an apartment complex was built for specially me and my personality. I was already impressed by Jardine, but the kombucha was the cherry on top. The coffee itself is such an ideal feature, with it actually being quality coffee, unlike the underwhelming coffee usually available in hotels. The best part, is it's free. Cappuccinos, espressos, lattes. . I didn't need any more information to know that Jardine was the place I needed to be. This interaction took place about two years ago. When finally moving to Los Angeles, the only apartment on my mind was Jardine. I contacted Juan Gonzalez, and he was the leasing agent that made my dream come true. He was there with me every step of the way. It wouldn't have been possible for me to live in Jardine if Juan wasn't there. His kindness in responding to all of my questions , and knowledge of anything apartment related really sealed the deal. Moving in was extremely easy. It's now been a month since I moved to Jardine, and I couldn't be happier. I didn't know then when I visited, but Jardine hosts events in it's Movie Room. These events are so that residents can be introduced by staff, specifically Kenz Meadows . This is where the community is born. I got to meet so many residents in an hour, which is huge considering I didn't even know my neighbors in any of my past apartments. We all bonded and watched the Superbowl together. Kenz Meadows is how that is all possible. She creates these social events. She knows every resident by name and truly puts in the effort to get to know them, including myself. She makes Jardine a social community. I now am able to go around and say hello to so many residents I met at the event because of her. I am so happy to live at Jardine. I never want to leave. ...
Read moreThis review is for the numerous building issues, the owner/ resident services .The staff and amenities are great, but that's it. The actual apartment is a nightmare. You're basically paying 3500 a month to live in essentially an abandoned apartment unit. I've been here 15 months and of that time at least 5 months I have had no heat, no air conditioning. The HVAC unit is completely non functional ; it doesn't work at all. An entire month last spring it was broken,The entire month of November 23, and again a completely broken non functional HVAC unit since March 29. Plus all the. 3-5 days in between it breaks down. That adds up to at least 5 months total of no air or heat . They are always fixing , waiting in parts non stop. The building opened in May of 2021. You can see reviews Where others had the same issue. Sorry, you had three years to fix the issues. For for 3500 a month you have to use the oven for heat. A portable air conditioning window unit that sounds like a Boeing 747.It leaks air from outside into the unit through the window . And since I have no functioning HVAC system the majority of the time The units humidity has an average of 70 . Just perfect for growing mold . So now I run a de humidifier 24/7. No free standing water issues. But give it around 6 months and I'm sure there will be / or is mold under the floor boards. There also is an issue with getting hot water. In February for 3 weeks I only had cold water. But it occasionally fluctuated to warm so the lawyer for the building said that did not entitled me to any compensation. I also can't get compensation for the all the months of a non function HVAC system. I did receive something last year. But really most everyone that moves into the building gets a two or four week commission for functioning units. I received nothing when I moved in. So, sorry, asking for compensation is completely reasonable . I finally asked to leave because of the chronic issues. However, I paid full rent all of April And have no working heat or air. This hardly seems reasonable . Nice that you ordered parts For the past 15 months, but it's never been fixed, and breaks down every couple of weeks. Also if you live here demand self parking. Many residents have self parking . It depends on who you are, I guess. I was forced to valet. It's a huge Inconvenience. And your seat and chair setting Will be changed every time you get in your car. And don't live on the side of Netflix. You can hear the cars and valet 24/7. They all have some OCD issue . when they lock the car with the fob they click it a minimum of 4000 times per car. So you hear chronic beeping all night long. And the complete Rod who owns the Lamborghini Sits in his car for a minimum of 20 minutes at a time, Revving up his damn engine up 4 times a night. Don't expect to sleep. At this point management is just waiting for me to leave So they don't have to compensate for the non functional unit. If you never use your air conditioning, heat and like your feet sticking to the floor because of the humidity, You'll love this place. But hey, you can always take a cold shower to cool down because often there is no...
Read moreIn my opinion, Jardine is hands-down the best apartment building in Los Angeles. And yes, I’m including pricier places like Ten Thousand in Century City and The Park Santa Monica in this comparison. Everything at Jardine is premium quality: the building itself, the apartments, appliances, and all the thoughtful details.
The apartments have spacious layouts, and the bedrooms feature plush carpeting that absorbs sound wonderfully, creating a quiet environment ideal for restful sleep. Quick tip though: there’s a nightclub nearby, so if you’re sensitive to noise, avoid apartments in the northwest corner. Everywhere else is blissfully peaceful.
True to its name (“Jardin” means “garden” or “oasis” in French), stepping inside feels like entering your own private sanctuary. Even though you’re right in the heart of Hollywood’s energetic buzz, once you’re inside, you totally forget about the madness outside.
And speaking of Hollywood—this building is so perfectly positioned, you can literally see the Hollywood sign from your bathroom. Nothing says “I’ve made it in LA” like brushing your teeth with a direct view of Hollywood’s most iconic landmark!
The rooftop and pool area are fantastic, but my favorite amenities are the two community spaces: the stylish club lounge on the top floor and the inviting community room downstairs. Both are perfect for working from home, but the top-floor lounge steals the show—peaceful vibes, amazing views, and ideal whether you’re working, reading, chilling, or watching a movie.
The gym is also excellent, featuring great equipment and inspiring views that make cardio sessions way more enjoyable. Just watch out for the intense sunlight around 10 a.m., and maybe plan your workout earlier or later in the day to avoid the glare.
There’s even a private movie theater you can reserve, perfect for movie nights alone or with friends. It’s cozy, quiet, and has a big screen for an awesome cinematic experience.
Overall, Jardine offers incredible value! Definitely better than most other buildings in the city. I genuinely love calling this place home and hope to stay here for...
