Benji cancelled my reservation 4 days before our wedding reception. We paid over 10k for an event that was confirmed for 10 months and 4 days before the event, Benji finally notified us of an incident where other guests had been ticketed for hosting an event at our reservation. In order to prevent further ticketing, they pulled our reservation. They offered us a replacement that was less than half the size of our reservation with less rooms, and had the audacity to believe that this was an equal and fair offering. Benji felt justified by making us pay the same amount for something completely different, and was not willing to give any significant discounts or compensation for damages incurred (including multiple vendor services that were locked into the original booking for months now). Worse than any of those offerings was the fact that Benji was unwilling to give a full refund considering I had re-scramble my entire wedding for this complete lack of competence. Benji was also entirely evasive during this process, failing to communicate clearly or regularly, often missing calls or texts. When I wanted to escalate this matter to his manager, Benji would not allow me to speak to anyone else but himself. The entire situation was actually quite shady and felt like a scam. They continued to refuse a full refund for failing to deliver on services I already paid for. Instead, they offered me a voucher for a future reservation which is offensive to think that after this poor showing of respect and professional courtesy that I would ever do business with Benji or his "team" ever again. Still have not spoken to anyone but Benji as I was simply refused contact with anyone else. This is one of those companies that when things go right, they probably go well, but if things ever go poorly, they are entirely unprofessional. I would take this review seriously as you move forward with your next booking or use a third party like Airbnb or VRBO, etc. as then at least you have the backing of a real, legitimate company in case anything goes wrong. I would not be giving them a 1 star review just for the extremely last minute cancellation itself, but it is the incompetence of Benji as well as the lack of courtesy in regards to the following: 1. poor communication 2. unwillingness to escalate to another professional within the department 3. unavailability of comparable options or accommodations above and beyond expectations 4. A Nightmare Experience with Living the Dream Luxury Rental - Olympic Pearl Villa

I recently had the misfortune of renting the Olympic Pearl Villa through Living the Dream Luxury Rental via Vrbo, and it turned out to be the worst experience of my life. What was supposed to be a dream stay quickly turned into a nightmare that has dragged on for nearly three months, with a series of issues that have left me deeply upset and disappointed.

First and foremost, my $3000 deposit has not been returned to me despite it being almost three months since my stay. This alone is utterly unacceptable and has put me in a very difficult financial situation. The lack of communication and responsiveness from the host and the company has been appalling. I have reached out multiple times seeking resolution and have been met with silence every time.

To make matters worse, the villa itself was in a deplorable state. Upon arrival, I discovered it was infested with termites, which is completely unacceptable for any property, let alone a "luxury" rental. The floor was uneven, posing a safety risk and further indicating the lack of care and maintenance from the property owners or the rental company.

Given these severe issues, the property is simply not worth the money charged, and the experience has been incredibly upsetting. It is clear to me that Living the Dream Luxury Rental has been negligent in their duties to provide a habitable and enjoyable property, and their lack of responsiveness is inexcusable.

I am currently in the process of taking legal action against the company for their negligence and for unlawfully withholding my deposit. This situation is completely unacceptable, and I hope my review serves as a warning to others considering renting through this company. Please think twice before booking with Living the Dream Luxury Rental, as the dream they sell could very well turn into...

I agree with all previous reviews with one star. This is definitely zero stars. Living The Dream is a complete scam. They are money hungry cheats. From the moment we began working with them the cast of characters have been consistently bad. From Rudy and Benjamin(Benji) to Michelle and Shay. All bad. Something was always off. They were non responsive, kept changing our contact person and the final straw was failure to return our entire security deposit. They actually put part of our refundable deposit Into someone else's account and expected us to get the money from the other person. When I asked for an explanation, I got hung up on several times and told the decision was final I I had to handle getting my money back. How do you do business like this. I have contacted the BBB and an attorney. I will see them in court. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY AND ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES! They are unscrupulous and really terrible people. Karma is real and they will get theirs! Any review with any stars greater than one is fake. Look at the names, they are related to management. BEWARE!

UPDATE And here is the problem. You did NOT credit MY card, you credited someone else's and I have still not received my full deposit back. When I tried to talk to you about it you hung up on me, several times. Funny how I gave you the money you required and yet I have to fight to get back the money I should have received. It should not be my responsibility to get money back when YOU incorrectly credited someone else's credit card. Please stop lying.
