I would highly recommend My Hair Helpers in Thousand Oaks for anyone who even suspects they could have lice on the heads of those in their home. My son brought home lice, and I was panicking. When I discovered the lice eggs, it was already 9 pm, and many places were closed. I saw that My Hair Helpers took calls through 11 pm. Amy picked up and answered all my questions, then advised me on what to do in the meantime. Her advice helped, and we couldn’t wait to see her. She scheduled my family to visit her salon the next day. Her salon is so cute and very kid-friendly, with some activities for them to do while they wait their turn. After combing through my son's hair, she confirmed that my son had lice eggs. She treated his hair with her lice removal treatment and rechecked his hair with her special magnifying goggles. She checked the rest of us, and she found nothing. Amy is so kind, helpful, great with the kids, and she answered all of my questions. After freaking out for hours, I was finally put at ease. We found My Hair Helpers and AMY, the owner answered and was quick to reassure us that she could take care of the whole family in one sitting. We booked an appointment and she got us in within a couple of hours and treated all 4 of us. What really helped was the 2nd treatment. We didn't think we needed it, because the first treatment was very thorough. But this is part of her wonderful process to eliminate lice, bugs nits etc. I listened to Amy and now we all all lice free.
