Being from out of town I donāt hear much of this shop, but spending time in the area it feels like this place is historic, I mean that in a sense that the owner and the employees and the team riders seem to cherish the culture of there shop and skateboarding . It feels a bit exclusive and special. It is also special in the sense that it has a touch of Japanese influence which rings true to its location and had me recognize how much talent in skateboarding is coming from Japan and LA after following there instagram and paying attention to some of the riders. Itās a shop with a less ābroā vibe and more of a respect the culture kind of thing if that makes any sense . Great place to check out and get some different product other shops sometimes may not have. A lot of nostalgic trinkets and official brands that often sell out quickly online and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just moved to the LA area from NC. Went looking for a good local shop, and I found one. Arrived a few minutes after it opened, I was let in by the owner. The notorious "Asian man" from the reviews. I had no idea, I didn't read any reviews until I was about to leave one. Introduced myself, told him I was looking for a good local shop for my Nike SB fix. He told me his name was Tetsuya, as a Naito mark that put a smile on my face. I asked about the Hayley Wilson Dunk Lows, he said the had one more pair in stock. I looked around at their selection. Good selection of Dunks, SB signature shoes, and Nike SB tshirts. He also had all the other brands too, I just don't care about them. We talked a bit and I asked for that last pair of dunks. Overall a great experience, Tetsuya seemed like a cool guy to me. I'll be back in a couple weeks for a...

Iāve been around pretty much every shop in LA as far as skating goes weāre pretty spoiled in this town. That being said, standing out as exceptional is pretty hard and this place crushes it. Found the selection great, prices can jump a little maybe 10-5$ on top but for the sake of stock Iāll pay that extra cash just to not skate from store to store to pick up parts here and there. Clothes selection is great, set up is chaotic, with boards everywhere like it should be. Owner can be a little stand offish but this is downtown LA, a lot of suss peeps put most shop owners on edge so I donāt take it personally. Overall classic skate store with an exceptional selection.
