The ANIME REPLICA STORE! Style LA isnât all knock-offs and cheap items. I actually got a couple of good finds here that would be sold for triple the price at a night market or anime convention. I was looking for a Demon Slayer haori and they had it here! Itâs the exact same quality I would get at an artist alley.
Now, shirts and sweaters are much cheaper quality and I wouldnât recommend a majority of their stock. They have a few cool shirts, especially their JJK shirts but I wouldnât expect home runs everywhere you turn. A lot of the store does have poor quality merch and blatant bootleg items. If thatâs your thing, youâll love this place. However, some of the shirt prints are pretty bad.
I also found some large, clear backpacks for $20 which is a solid buy. My issue with this store is that itâs messy and merch is piled on top of each other. Itâs very unorganized. Service was pretty good, I had all my questions answered quickly and the check-out process was seamless. Style Outlet LA accepts tap! You can find this store in the heart of Little Tokyo...
Read moreIt's a shame that a store in such a prime location in Little Tokyo leaves such a poor impression. While pretty much every other retail outlet and restaurant is doing their best to follow COVID regulations and limit the number of people going into the store, there are no such efforts being made here.
If that didn't leave enough of a bad impression, they will not allow people using wheelchairs inside either (which is illegal on so many levels.) Why? Apparently they need all the people they can in the store because they have to pay a high rent of $30,000 per month.
The entrepreneur in me sympathizes with the attempt to make ends meet during a pandemic, but the blatant disregard of safety and flat out discrimination make this place a hard pass. There are plenty of other shops you can visit for cutesy goods in Little Tokyo, but stay away from this one (if they...
Read moreThis store was horrible there were only two employees a cashier and a helper and they made up prices on the spot and tried to scam us. First they said that masks were six to $10 and then they said that they were $40 each. The hoodies work from $45-$60 and they were all badly made and They all look incredibly cheap. The plushyâs were $25 each which was considering the quality incredibly overpriced we had $40 in total and still needed help to buy two plushy âs. The cashier and Helper were incredibly rude to us, And like I said made a price on the spot as soon as we tried to talk to them. Donât ever come here if you know whatâs good for you, the ice cream store next to it, somi somi, was good. They were tripping hazards everywhere and it was incredibly messy and unorganized. Our trip was no fun. This...
