On November 18th at store 1711, cashier Sheila/Shayla (employee #614172), was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. I walked to the cashier counter and was not greeted by this cashier. She looked extremely unbothered. The top I wanted to purchase was stained so I asked if she can give me a discount and she insisted that they are not allowed to do so. I told her that it was very common for that to happen and asked if she can ask a manager, the manager informed her that she is able to give me 20% off. While I was paying the cashier told me that this sale is final and I would not be able to return it, thats when I informed her that we are able to still return or exchange the items even with the discount and again she insisted that they could not do that, so again the manager informed her that I would be able to still return or exchange it. I asked if she is a new employee and she responded with such rudeness that she is. I was treated so poorly that I asked for her name for future reference and she rudely said, “No I’m not going to give it to you, ask ‘her’” and pointed at the store manager. Read moreMy daughter and I visited this location on 8/26, we flew in from Sacramento. We normally shop at any and all Ross locations because we love the stores. This location on West Pico Blvd deserves negative ZERO stars for the worse customer service we've ever had. The manager (Evelyn) and her tacky staff refused to allow us (CUSTOMERS) to use the restroom. She gave the most ridiculous excuse has to why we couldn't use it, basically it's just not allowed - she was unable to put together a sentence with an explanation that made any sense. I asked her what if we just had an accident on the floor, what then??? Her response was, they had someone to clean it up - DISGUSTING/LIAR/SILLY. They talk about things that cant be done and it’s also written in the policies in the back of every receipt. For example: damage discount items at 10% and more are FINAL SALE. People still insist things are their way, and when at the store they throw tantrums as how they’re use to do everywhere.
People who likes to swipe prices or remove it from items so they can get it “cheaper” are the ones that whine the most.
