If I could get this store negative stars I would. Me and my friend planned a fun day at Little Tokyo. To start off we went into this star and even before we were let in we felt uncomfortable. We walked around the store and coincidentally everywhere we went the young girl that worked there was “pretending” to fix something on the shelves. It was clear she was following us and for reference me and my friends are both latinas (me having darker features). There were about 3 other people in the store (white) she could have followed but didn’t. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard something like this happening at this store.

Moral of the story don’t shop here if you are...

The attitude and demeanor given by the cashier makes it an unwelcome place. Made me feel stupid for handing a debit card. The place was busy so I wasn’t aware there was a $5 minimum sign. I also was in a rush to leave so I could get back to my business on time. So sure, my bad for not noticing the sign. Still does not excuse the rudeness given by the staff member. Simply saying: “Excuse me sir, we have a $5 minimum”, is enough. Instead, the cashier was curt and gave of the feeling that she was really upset. Will not be returning to this...

Staff sometimes come across as a bit cold and disinterested at the register, but not too often. Items here are pricey, except their smaller items such as pencil cases, small blind box keychains, and stickers. Apart from those small things, they have REALLY large plushes of cute animals (smaller ones too of course) but those are the most expensive...
