World 8-2 — Local services in Los Angeles

Horrible experience with super rude staff at an overpriced store. All I did was ask about a PS1 game and before I could even finish saying the title of the game the dude working there immediately said “no we don’t have that”. I thought it was just a weird interaction and I tried to make small talk about some other games and he again was like “yeah I already told you we don’t have that”. Really great way to ruin your day. Screw this place. It’s cringe the workers are cringe and I hope they all get the red ring of death on...

I've been here twice now and it's worth the drive from Van Nuys! I much prefer it to Game Dude lately. Great service and game recommendations from Curtis and Edgar, some really fun vintage console finds, and the location is really cool for the otaku community.

FYI, no place in the mall/area validates the parking lot. But that's to be expected in downtown. Best to pay the 15 day rate (or take an extra 10-15 min to find street parking.) Plenty to do in the area that makes the parking fee...

It was pretty busy the day i went to Little Tokyo, but nevertheless the staff helped me, even checked their system for when I asked if they had a certain accessory, when they said they were expecting a shipment of that accessory in a bit they even offered to let me know when it arrived. Prices were average with the going rates online which honestly is pretty impressive for somewhere in DTLA. Next time I find myself in Los Angeles I'll see about...
