I went to this store looking for a specific suit. I also went to the springhurst location looking for the same suit. I spoke with a rep in store at Oxmoor who was not familiar with the men's department. The men's suit department did not have a rep anywhere near it because mostly everyone was outside talking and smoking. How do I know this? Because one of the employees nearly hit me with the door rushing out! I spoke with someone who did not know anything about the men's department and who insisted they did not and had not ever carried the suit I was looking for. I chatted corporate and they said differently. So not only did the rep I spoke with not know anything about that department she did not ask another associate or look online. Corporate assured me it would be back in stock this week after 3 hours of this running in circles. They could not confirm when it would be in but gave me an email address to email with the description of what I wanted to purchase and which store. When I asked how they could help make the situation better they stated they would honor free shipping. That helps because I'm purchasing in store! I cleared my browser it came back undelivered and domain does not exist. Another rep at corporate gave me the same info and said it was user error and to clear my browser. After that didn't work I attempted to call corporate to find that you cannot speak to anyone about filing a complaint. I am furious. I purchased all of my suits from Kohls and recommended coworkers to do the same. I will not be purchasing from Kohls again or promoting them. I don't expect a response from anyone in management because most of the stores/ companies in Louisville do not care about reviews or if their customers are happy. Do not shop at Kohl's. spend a little more and purchase elsewhere and with someone who knows what they are doing and can assist you. Good customer service is hard to find but I have no problem finding it at Express, Macy's...
Read morePurchased a beautiful pair of Lauren Conrad wedges($59.99) , once I got home I realized they were two different sizes. My fault for not checking, and theirs for not checking at the checkout counter.
Returned to the store a couple days later to get this settled, went to the customer service counter and was promptly greeted. While in the middle of telling the clerk my issue she walks away and answers the phone.... 1st annoyance.
Then she came back to ask me to repeat the story. 2nd annoyance.
Once the story had finally been discussed she informs me the shoe that was not able to be ordered at all. So she offers to have me go find another shoe that is $59.99, which I just decided to do due to the fact that she hadn’t given me any other options. Went and thirty minutes later found another pair of shoes. Once I returned to the counter she starts telling me I will pay a difference for the total of the two shoes and she was only reimbursing me $23.42 due to have received Kohl’s cash that I hadn’t even used yet. I tried to give the Kohl’s cash back, which I received from spending the money for those shoes to begin with. She said that’s not how it works. So after spending $59.99 of my own money, I got $10 of Kohl’s cash and that is equivalent to my own in Kohl’s opinion...
I have never been more furious with a situation, nor have I even seen such absurd refund/exchange methods in my life. All I wanted were those shoes, and I returned them and didn’t even get my money back, it was in store credit not even in the full amount. So I will no longer be a shopper of Kohl’s, whether that means something or not. And Elizabeth in Customer care should move to be a cashier or something, she’s definitely lacking in customer service.
Kohl’s has definitely gone down hill over the years, I will most definitely not...
Read moreThe staff are racist and profile people on looks! I'm fed up with the rude customer service from the employees at both Kohls locations! They must hate their jobs And hate customers that done fit their idea of perfect and if so go somewhere else to work! They really want Kohls to fail and shut down just like a lot of other brick and morter stores have and it's working! Look at all the 1 star reviews! I haven't been in there in months due to rude behavior by the employees and thought if I gave it time they might change....but NO, I went back and they still have the same bad attitude with not wanting to help anyone. No help and dirty looks, rolled eyes and they turn and walk away when they see a customer coming! Unacceptable and rude! Dirty messy, dressing rooms,, dirty mirrors,, dirty bathrooms, dirty floors and carpet. Store looks like it's falling apart. Security followed my 82 year old mother around and made her so nervous we had to leave due to her heart condition! They even stepped on the back of her Coach shoe and she almost fell! They didn't even apologise to a disabled senior citizen! NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS! For a company that's struggling they sure treat their customers like dirt!! ME, MY FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS AND COWORKERS WON'T EVER GO BACK!! HOPE ALL THE KOHLS' STORES CLOSE FOR GOOD! THEY WON'T BE MISSED BECAUSE THEIR CLOTHES ARE GARBAGE AND DON'T HOLD UP AFTER WASHING AND THEIR PRICES ARE TOO HIGH FOR WHAT THEY SELL WHICH IS JUNK! KOHLS HAS GONE WAY, WAY, DOWNHILL AND TJ MAXX OR PENNYS IS SO MUCH BETTER, CLEANER AND NICER STAFF. JUST DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY AT KOHLS WHO DOESN'T APPRECIATE THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL! EVERYTHING HERE FROM CLOTHES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUST HORRIBLE! VERY UNCLEAN AND UNCARING!!...
