Stewart Promotions — Local services in Louisville

This flea market is the standard by which others are judged in this entire region. It isn't an art show, though there are artists and craftspeople here at every show. To dismiss it as a giant yard sale misses the point by miles. There are lots of collectibles and artifacts from your grandparents' and great grandpatents' world on display and for sale here. Always coin, book, comic, record, collectible toys and games, and glassware dealers. There are discount surplus booths, but those, while large and carrying significant stock, are perhaps a dozen in total out of hundreds. Whether your taste is that of a collector or a bargain hunter -- or a blending of both, for some nice deals are to be had on collectibles here -- you should be able to spend a few satisfying hours at any of Stewart's flea markets. One vendor has put me off the entire market. I am not going back. We went to the new location in Knoxville. While looking at an area of junk, (I don't know how else to describe it) the vendor came up and told my daughter to empty her pockets. He said someone had seen her put things in her pockets and it was on camera. The only thing in her pockets was her phone. I spent the rest of my time waiting for my wife, sitting in my car while my child cried. He didn't say he saw her, he said it was someone else. If you any kind of serious artist this is not the show for you. It draws the flea market and yard sale crowd. Actually, many for the vendors in the Owensboro KY Christmas 2015 show were not artist or craft people. It was flea market and yard sale crap. The people were looking for cheap goods and not quality. As a vendor of handmade quality product, we will never do another Stewart Promotion show again. Many vendors did not even make their booth fee back. And they ask a large amount...
