I have been searching for various home decor items and was very happy to learn that a Kirklands Store had newly opened up back in our area. There had been a previous Kirklands located in the Capital City Mall, few years ago, which I frequented quite often. I found a mirror to purchase on the Kirklandās website and found a promo code through āretail me notā for an additional 20% off (to use in store or online). I entered the promo code on the Kirkland website (to make sure coupon was valid) before physically going to our Kirkland store. After arriving at the Kirklandās in Harrisburg, I found several of the exact mirror I was looking to purchase. At the check out with the mirror and another small item I found while browsing in the store, the assistant manager informed me I could not use the coupon for 20% off and that she needed a barcode to scan. I then asked if I could make the purchase on my smart phone and attempt to use the coupon, which she agreed to. I purchased the mirror on Kirklands.com and showed the assistant manager the receipt of payment. She then explained I would now need to wait approximately two weeks for the mirror I ordered to arrive at the store, when the exact mirror I wanted to purchase was physically available in excess. I can understand her giving me some difficulty with the use of coupon (a whopping $6) but the fact that I purchased the item from the Kirkland website (while standing in the store) and her not allowing me to physically take a mirror home with me, is completely unacceptable and very poor customer service in my opinion. Corporate will be notified....

It shipped in a very timely manner, however, the label got messed up and needed to be replaced. The package sat at a fed ex warehouse for DAYS with no movement. I called fed ex twice trying to find out what was going on and basically got the run around. I finally decided to call Kirklands to see what options I had. The lady I spoke with was so nice and so understanding (I wish I would have wrote her name down to give her the credit she deserves). She said she would look into it and put a rush on it. A day later I got an email that another chair was on the way and I would have it before christmas. I am eternally grateful for their assistance. Customer service can't be an easy job, these folks deserve a raise for their continued kindness and professionalism....

There is a clerk in there by the name of Matt and I have been in three times in about six weeks twice to buy stuff once to return an item.I have never had to deal with a clerk that was as rude as him before. The first time I considered maybe he wasn't feeling well or was just having a bad day but the next two times I had to deal with him I got treated the exact same way. I also witnessed him treating another customer poorly as I entered into the store so I knew it wasn't just me being sensitive because she made a comment out loud as she was leaving the store about how angry she was. I hope the manager of the store takes this seriously because if he treated me and this one other person poorly I can guarantee he's doing it...
