Banner's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Lynchburg

I’ve been to this Hallmark several times over the last few weeks so I’ve given them several chances. Every time I have went into the store the workers have been clustered by the registers engaging in gossip based on the overheard conversations and do not engage the customers.

I also purchased an order online and had it shipped to the store. It was delivered to the store, no one ever called me for pickup. When I stopped by to see if my order was ready, over a week after it had been delivered, the excuse for not calling was my number was rubbed off of the box. I’m sure they have a digital record of my order and phone number.

Good try to save yourself from not doing your job but I believe it was laziness and inattentiveness that has caused me to never return my business to this Hallmark. I will from now on use another one in the...

12 years ago I stopped shopping at Hallmark due to a previously reviewed situation. I needed to buy a card so I stopped by this store because I already did shopping at Walmart and forgot to get a card. Immediately we were welcomed and offered assistance. Looked around and chatted with one of the managers (Tricia I believe). I did not share my previous experience but she was very nice and offered to assist if I needed something. After looking I told her I was ready to check out and she came over. Continued friendly conversation and felt like I’ve know her a while and we were old friends. The store has lots of nice stuff for sale and the card selection is large. I was able to find the card category I was looking for easily. They have a really good selection of Christmas ornaments right now. I even found that there are some "The Office" themed ornaments available too!

The only downside to the store is that I have to get on Wards Road to get to the store. That's a personal thing. I don't like the traffic on Wards Road, but to others it's going to be no big deal.
