5/8/25- Yet again a wonderful experience, we were seen the same day for an emergency to put my daughter’s crown back in and Dr. DK did an outstanding job as always, and my daughter will tell me after every visit that she has a good experience and that it didn’t hurt. He is fast but yet very efficient and knows what he is doing he is gentle and makes sure the kiddos aren’t in pain if only I could find a dentist like Dr. DK, but I am so thankful to have him working on my children’s teeth. Thank you! :)

I have taken my children here twice and both times I have had a wonderful experience. My daughter usually gets so scared, and she felt completely safe here, and Dr.DK is very nice and gentle when working on the children’s teeth. He asks several times if they are doing okay. I can’t believe how fast but yet so efficient he is at working on teeth. I will continue to take my children here, it is a whole different experience at Alderwood Children’s Dentistry than any other place we have been to. And the next day Dr.DK asked how my children are feeling, I thought that was pretty awesome. They really care about the children here and are genuinely wonderful people. My daughter was watching a movie laughing at the movie and humming the whole time as he was putting a crown on her and working on other teeth as well. As a parent it can’t be nerve wracking to take your children to the dentist/doctors but that is definitely not the case here, thank you for doing a wonderful job and taking care of my kiddos teeth and for changing the whole experience of going to...

We were referred to Dr. DK and his team after our daughter's eruption cyst persisted for more than two months. Sheryl promptly scheduled an appointment for us, which fortuitously fell on the same day we called. Our experience with Dr. DK was truly remarkable. From the moment we met him, a sense of calm washed over us. Although we both have backgrounds in the medical field and working with children, dentistry presented a unique challenge, especially when it involved our own child. Dr. DK's reassuring presence and positive energy filled us with unwavering confidence.

While our initial purpose for the visit was to address the cyst, Dr. DK went above and beyond. He took the time to demonstrate the best technique for cleaning our daughter's teeth. This was not only beneficial for her oral health but also aimed to familiarize her with the dental office environment, promoting her comfort and ease. Dr. DK's emphasis on "having a strong heart" really hit home for us as new parents. It's tough to do all the right things without feeling that emotional pull, but his comment truly helped me.

Lastly, we followed the instructions he provided, and miraculously, the cyst popped the next morning! What truly enhanced the experience for me was that he reached out to check on her via messaging the following day. The fact that he and his team had a well-established plan for follow-up, without us needing to make any additional calls or inquiries, greatly contributed to our peace of mind. My child's appointment was set up in office. I took off time for the appointment for date they told me it was for. I even confirmed my appointment through the text message system that asked me to confirm sent from the office. Later 2 days prior to appt when I checked on the appointment, in fact there was no appointment set up for my child??? I was also told that "the texting system" I confirmed on my phone sent from there office "was not accurate and the appointments just get sent out to confirm but we don't use that" lol, which is weird to me or a damn lie, (I confirmed this way before also but 1st time hearing this)because why would you have a text system that ask someone to confirm, if it's not going to indeed confirm the appointment there was no type of interest or apology shown for the inconvenience so I pulled all three of my children. The person who made the appointment in first place, had no accountability In this situation, which is exactly why I'm taking my sons to another dentist because lack of concern or follow up Would not recommend because keeping appointments should be important. Hope you guys do better it makes a difference, accountability. Great dentist but some front office staff seemed overwhelmed it's sad because one apple can spoil the bunch.
