Moving into Destinations Lynnwood has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve made—and a huge part of that is thanks to the leasing agent, who made every step feel seamless, personal, and deeply caring. From my first phone call, she made me feel like more than just another applicant; she asked thoughtful questions about what I wanted in a home—how important was natural light, how much space would I need for visitors or hobbies, whether I’d want a 1- or 2-bedroom, pet friendly, views or private/semi-private terrace—and then walked me through the different floor plans carefully, pointing out which units had mountain views, which terraces faced west or east for sunset/sunrise, which ones were quieter, which had more closet space. She was super transparent about pricing: what the base rent would be, what fixed mandatory fees might be, what utility costs to expect, what pet policy looked like (yes, dogs and cats are allowed with some weight limits and breed restrictions) so there were no surprises. When I asked about amenities, she didn’t just list them, she walked me through each one: the fitness center, the yoga studio, the media & theater room, the community garden, dog park, rooftop deck, carriage of courtyards and landscaped outdoor spaces, the clubhouse and craft/game rooms, the sun-rooms and TV lounge etc., plus things like the elevators, on-site maintenance, the beautifully designed common areas. On move-in day she ensured the apartment was clean, everything worked—appliances, heating, views matched what she promised—keys in hand, and she took time to show me around the building, how to access amenities, where to park, how to use my balconies or semi-private terrace, how to contact maintenance if needed. After I settled in, she followed up to make sure nothing was broken, I was comfortable, which made me feel genuinely cared for, not just like someone who signed paperwork. Life here at Destinations Lynnwood is exactly what I hoped for. The apartment itself is well-built, modern finishes, large windows, many units have terraces or semi-private outdoor spaces and mountain views in select plans. The floor plans are 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom, with just enough space to feel luxurious without being overwhelming (maintenance-free is not an overstatement). Because this is a 61+ / active adult community (i.e. age-qualified), there’s a peaceful but lively feeling—folks are friendly, there’s a sense of respect and shared lifestyle. The amenities are resort-inspired: the rooftop deck is gorgeous for sunsets or morning coffee; the dog park is nice (if you have a small pet under the limit); the fitness and yoga studios are well-equipped; the social and media rooms, theater room, community garden, landscaped courtyards are all lovely, clean, well maintained. It feels like they put a lot of thought into common spaces, into having places I’d enjoy spending time, whether alone or with neighbors. Also very appreciated: transparency about policies (pet policy, parking fees, mandatory fees etc.), the ease of paying (online payments, etc.), and staff are responsive when I have questions or need something fixed. All together, what made the difference for me was how the leasing agent (Randee or someone equally phenomenal) showed genuine pride in the place, didn’t rush me, answered every question (and I had a lot), anticipated needs (showing me which units had better lighting or quieter façades), made sure paperwork was crystal clear, and made move-in feel like a welcome rather than a transaction. Destinations Lynnwood offers the kind of active adult living I was hoping for: well designed, full of amenities, peaceful yet social, cared for, with staff who treat you like a neighbor, not just a tenant. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone 61+ looking for a place that doesn’t just meet your needs but exceeds them—and if you can, ask for Randee (or a leasing agent with her level of care), because that personal touch turns a good place into...
Read moreI am So grateful I am living at Destinations Lynnwood, it is a place with many amenities: Rooftop Pea Patch planters, lovely tables with umbrellas, patio furniture, plenty of activities, trips offered in case you do not want to use your car to go shopping. There is a beautiful rooftop to enjoy the scenery with great views of the Mt Rainer, the Cascades, etc. People live here with a really nice sense of community, where every person is important, we are not only neighbors, people act here as family members. The areas are kept clean and well organized, I love the rooftop , the movie theater, computer room and the gym. The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and the freeway. A very special place for pets(with areas for them). However the most important aspect of my experience here is the relationship between the staff and the tenants. The very friendly staff is always looking for solutions to tenants' problems, giving quick and effective responses working around the clock to keep us happy here.( my special recognition(+++) to Randee Young). It was a wonderful experience, I will try to live there if I need to choose. Great experiences with management and people living that make you feel like family, i ok definitely recommend the place...
Read moreLarry held a Tech Help Session for those of us needing guidance using our phones and computers. He starts from the beginning-- starting up the computer, going step by step. He goes over the icons, taking the mystery away of icons we don't have to use; making us feel more comfortable. His explanations are clear and at our level of understanding. He makes sure we are grasping things; showing the different ways to accomplish the same thing. He welcomes any questions, being focused on our problems, and easily giving solutions. Once he gave the overview, he showed us how to get around in the computer, finding files we've worked on, and how to manage them. He asked about any issues, which of course led to other questions. He stayed with us until we exhausted all our questions, and he got up to leave only when all of us were leaving. (He had spent the time with us during his lunch hour!) He told us he's available anytime. And that he will be setting up more help sessions. Larry is pleasant and genuinely happy helping others. Teaching comes naturally for him. We have needed someone who would be available to help us when help is needed. Larry is just that. Thank...
