I happened upon Maya Asian Market on a random Sunday and from first glance could not tell it was an Indonesian grocery store. I have been looking for another Indonesian store every since Waroeng Jajanan closed and can report the people here are very friendly and they have a good variety of foods to buy: spices, cookies, chips, krupuk, Indomie, Kopiko, etc. I specifically talked to a woman who was running the shop (I'm thinking the owner?) and she was happy to learn that I knew a lot about Indonesian food because of my Dad who grew up in Indonesia. She told me they are planning to have cooked food in at the store in the future, so I'm looking forward to that.
