The walls are adorned with BBQ-themed art and memorabilia, giving the place a cozy, down-home feel. For my meal, I decided to keep it traditional and simple, deciding for two brisket burnt ends tacos. When they arrived at my table, they looked absolutely delectable. Taking the first bite, I was treated to an explosion of flavors. The brisket burnt ends were tender and succulent, with a rich, smoky flavor that was perfectly complemented by the sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. The creamy slaw added a delightful crunch and freshness, balancing the richness of the meat. The chimichurri was vibrant and packed with flavor, adding an extra layer of complexity to each bite. The tacos were a perfect harmony of textures and tastes, making each mouthful a delightful experience. Every element, from the soft tortillas to the juicy brisket and the crisp slaw, was expertly crafted and combined. QBBQ delivered an exceptional meal and a wonderful dining experience. Read moreWe have visited this Q-BBQ location a few times and the food is always excellent, unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is always in such a hurry and forgetful of items. My last experience to this location will be my final. We visited a little closer to closing (8:15 pm) the dining area was empty except for one other table with a big group. We asked to be seated away from those customers since they tried to sit us at the very table in an empty restaurant. The next customers to walk in were then sat right next us. Practically on our laps. The reason for this was the staff started pre cleaning. Acceptable yes but this included using chemicals to clean tables and the pop machine and washing floors, all while the store is still open and guests were still eating. The bleach smell was more overwhelming than my appetite for BBQ. Being that I have always worked in a service restaurant type job and have a serve safe food safety certification I am positive this is a task to be done after the actual closing. That being said the shop was still open for another 15 minutes when some customers walked in and they were told they could not dine in. I felt so mad for them as they had a small child with them. This was such poor customer service. Once they left one of the servers immediately locked the door. Never in my life did I feel like this after dining out someplace. Highly disappointed and a lot of training needs to be done...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer for some time, regularly placing both pick-up and dine-in orders. However, my recent experience was very disappointing. I placed a pick-up order for two orders of spicy wings. Unfortunately, the order was prepared incorrectly. They gave me sausage links. Seems to be a common mistake from what I read under multiple reviews. My son went back to address the mistake, and the staff charged him for the correct order, assuring us that a refund for the incorrect order would be issued within 24–48 hours.
When I asked for a refund receipt, I was told it had been given to my son. My son stated he never received one. When I called back, the same staff member insisted that the receipt had been provided and implied that my son must have lost it. By the following Wednesday, the refund had still not appeared in my account. I called again and was told the manager would contact me.
The manager, Ian, left me a voicemail in which he was audibly cursing about having to leave a message. When I returned his call, he dismissed my concerns, stating that it was not a refund but a void—something I had never been told previously. He was abrupt, repeatedly saying he was busy, and ended the call by hanging up on me.
I understand that mistakes happen, but the way they are handled makes all the difference. In this case, the lack of professionalism, inconsistent communication, and dismissive attitude were extremely...
