Olivaceto — Local services in Lyons Township

My daughter and I were in a mad rush headed to sushi. I mean laser focused/tunnel vision; mission oriented. As we hurried down LaGrange, I caught a glimpse of the door, knew I needed a specialty flavored oil (failed to remember in the moment and couldn’t find my notes) and quickly doubled back. The owner was extremely helpful by asking which flavor or recipe it was for. But, I just couldn’t remember. Looked around and saw at least 30 different varieties and asked if I could walk the selections. My daughter loves vinegarette so we started with something for her. Samples are in small cups and we went all in raw and chugged them. No crackers. No bread. Delicious. And you guys know from reading my Google reviews when I I say something is delicious-then it’s just that. We left with pomegranate, mango and pineapple. Other flavors were equally awesome. Guess I said, “Damn that’s good!” a few times. I’m almost certain we’ll be back in a month to restock...

If you are looking for quality oils and balsamic, look no further. I have received and made several gift baskets from them that are always so beautiful and well done. Their customer service is above and beyond and I love that they have a generous offering of interesting flavors. There is a high-end restaurant that offers speciality oil tastings with your bread and the oils at Olivaceto are even richer in flavor and quality. Their 18 year aged balsamic is beyond - I’ve had it out for several dinners with friends and they always leave with a bottle. Love Olivaceto and I can’t say enough about their excellent...

Absolutely love this place!! The owner is so nice and really cares about her customers. I love a good quality and oil and I was blown away with this place. I went in only expecting to buy 1 large bottle of oil (Tuscan herb), but ended up buying 2 smaller bottles of balsamic (strawberry and another one) and a tiny bottle of raspberry. This is my new go to store! After tasting these oils, they serve as oils and as dressings. I won’t buy anything at a regular grocery...
