Teysen's Gift Shop — Local services in Mackinaw Township

I stopped in and thoroughly enjoyed the shop. I didn't end up buying anything bc by that point, I had already bought a bunch of souvenirs. Had I stopped here first, I'm pretty sure I would've bought at least a few things. A lot of nice stuff for sale. Not as kitschy as some of the other stores (not knocking on them since I enjoy the kitschy as well!) I liked some of the pieces they had for the Lilac Festival that were a little more unique than the other stores. Would definitely visit again next time we visit Mackinaw/Mackinac and will make sure I visit...

Mr teysen used to belong to a hunting camp with my grandfather. I remember him sitting at camp telling cool old stories about hunts and life in general. Such a kind and amazing man. The business he formed is also amazing. The gifts are beautiful, the shop is well laid out and things are easy to find. If not staff is above and beyond helpful and friendly. I also love their art gallery they have next to the gift shop. So stop in, browse, try some fudge and enjoy the place! One of Mackinaw unique gift stores and a true gem...

Bad chocolate fudge. I got the dark chocolate caramel sea salt, and

1. it does not taste like fudge
2. it tastes like it's been left out for a while

At least compared to joannes and rybas, their chocolate fudge is bad
