Val's Shoes — Local services in Madison Heights

This is th ABSOLUTELY WORST place to buy ANYTHING...Their product is COMPLETE PIECE OF CRAP, I completely understand you're only paying $20 for a pair of shoes, but I still expect the damn things to last more than 30 lousy days before COMPLETELY FILLING APART!!! 😠 Seriously, I bought 2 pairs of dress shoes ($40) and I have not even worn them all of 30 days (between BOTH pairs), but yet BOTH pairs of dress shoes have COMPLETELY FALLEN APART (as in they're NOT even wearable AT ALL...The heel is actually falling right off and the bottom of the shoe has actually COMPLETELY CRACKED IN 1/2 (on BOTH pairs- Not just 1) to where any water seeps into the shoe & soaks my dress sock, so I went back to the store to make them aware of the situation- thinking any REPUTABLE business and RESPECTABLE establishment would stand behind their product (Especially knowing their product is MOST DEFINITELY of COMPLETELY INFERIOR quality) and most importantly accommodate the customer for the INCREDIBLY TERRIBLE 1st experience w/ them (Especially considering I was NOT even looking for a refund or anything...I was simply request they either replace the product w/ the same exact thing and/or allow me to get something of equal or lesser value to replace the CRAP they had knowingly sold me), but the guy working at the counter (I can NOT even call him a gentlemen because he knows what kind of CRAP he's selling his customers) but yet all he had to say (in his BROKEN English) was we "can't do anything...that's our policy" (he can't speak English but he obviously has rehearsed say the words "we can't do anything...That's our policy" because that's all he could say- Besides "Thank You..." as he stood their & walked out w/ the CRAP he knowingly sold me & had no problem taking my hard earned money...Seriously, "thank you" is what you're going to say to me (FOR WHAT...) for selling me the ABSOLUTE JUNK you know you stole my money for (who even operates a business in such a DESPICABLE & REVOLTING manner)!!??? 😤

I will NEVER-EVER shop there, or step foot in their- EVER AGAIN, and the worst part is he has NO IDEA how much of a disservice he did himself because... 1.) I will tell EVERYONE about my VERY UNPLEASANT experience w/ this CRAP & the guy who knowingly STOLE my money for the ABSOLUTE JUNK, and also... 2.) I like to shop ALOT, and everyone who knows me knows how I have an UNGODLY amount of shoes, clothes, etc...So fact of the matter is, he just lost himself a VERY-VERY GOOD customer (who doesn't have a problem spending money at all...Just as long as it's respectable merchandise, and NOT a bunch of damn CRAP)!!! 😠

Word of advise to ANYONE AND EVERYONE... Make sure you do NOT shop here and/or do business here- Unless you enjoy COMPLETELY WASTING your money (I had NO IDEA this place even existed at all & I only shopped here because a friend had suggested it, but I wish I would have NEVER-EVER even stepped foot in such a DISPICABLE establishment, because you're MUCH BETTER off just spending a bit more money & at least getting what you pay for- something that actually LASTS more than a LOUSY 30 days- between TWO pairs of shoes, so it wasn't even an actual FULL 30 days of wearing either pair...How...

New to this store today (having driven 15 miles one way), I purchased one pair of shoes, but I needed two. I definitely would have given 4 to 5 stars, but was disappointed that the manager was not customer-focused or customer-friendly. After spending one-hour-plus looking for two pairs that were comfortable and narrow enough for me, I finally found the second (and only) pair of a white-casual-cloth shoe that unfortunately had two fairly large brownish-yellow stains right on the top of one of the shoes. Because I wasn’t sure I could get the stains out, I asked the manager to consider the store’s clearance price of $5. She coldly refused saying she had no authority but 10%. I didn’t want to waste $9. Sadly, the shoe will likely end up in the clearance section anyway, and the store lost my business. Word of mouth is effective advertising, but I won’t...

Store is lovely and spotless. I went to the store at 8 p.m. even though I was unaware that it was closing time. The employee was extremely friendly and asked us a few times if we needed any help, but they did not state that they were closed since they didn't want us to rush through our shopping. I was taking my time and shopping for my kids. They had very excellent shoes, and I couldn't locate any nice shoes for my one-year and 4 years old anywhere else.. When we see the door is locked as we exit the store after checking out, we ask her. Are you guys close,they reply, "We're close at 8 o'clock." We checked out at 8:28 p.m. We was 28 minutes over they were quite gracious about it. superb clientele service. Thank you once more for your excellent...
