Only one person (a teenage boy w/ an iron stomach who drinks/eats just about anything) finished their drinks, and even his stomach hurts. Very disappointed after spending over $40 on these drinks. We have been drinking boba since 2011, before the craze, so it being an “unfamiliarity” isn’t the case. These drinks were terrible. I’ll be waiting for a follow-up call after speaking to the store. If the service is better, I will reconsider my rating.

Update: And yeah, they deserve less than the one star. Their service matched our poor experience. They didn’t refund us. I called that day, and they said a manager named Kevin would reach out. I gave it a few days. No one reached out. Then, I got the reply below. I went back to the store. One of their employees called the owner to let them know I was there. The owner proceeded to say, “Well, did you guys go to the hospital?” And then went back and forth with me, saying that no one else got sick, so they are...

The boba here is delicious, I appreciate the use of paper straws and I like the ambiance of this store. I think the actual boba pearls are made perfectly and to me taste better than some others I have tried.

Like many others have said, it is disappointing to not be able to adjust sugar or ice levels. There also don't seem to be different flavor or size options like most boba places have, it's pretty much milk tea or coffee for the boba drinks. I also found the rewards program to be disappointing. At other boba places you can get a free boba drink after 10 purchases but here the reward is just a green tea. All these things do make it difficult to justify the $7 price for a smaller cup than other places offer at that price.

If it didn't taste good, I would definitely have rated it lower but if you don't mind paying a bit more than usual, it is worth at least giving it a try because it does...
