Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Madison Heights

My daughter ordered Coldstone last night via DoorDash. Her order came with hair in it. When she contacted the store they were apologetic and offered to remake her order, or give her a gift certificate for her inconvenience. Fast fwd to today, we go to get her ice cream...there are 2 employees, one working with gloves, one was not. The one with gloves was taking money without changing gloves and had the audacity to try and make her ice cream. No thank you sir. I’ll take the gift certificate and go somewhere else. This is where things went left.

The other employee without gloves then proceeds to say she can’t get a gift certificate, the remake is the only option. I had to remind him that sir we are in the middle of a pandemic are you are making food without gloves. He very rudely told me it is uncomfortable for him to wear gloves during work, then went through a very unprofessional exchange about how I’m not getting my money back and to wait for him to call the owner. It took everything in me not to knock everything over. Needless to say, I kept my composure and got my money back. I will never again visit this establishment and I suggest you do the same.

I'm very disappointed with this particular location ONLY! 14mile in John R location I tried 2years in roll to order my birthday cake in everytime we order it in received it.... Its nothing like what I ordered! There's no mixed in that we asked for they simply take a cake out freezer in give it to us after custom ordering both years! This year after waiting we went to get the cake in nothing that we ordered is on top of the cake.... We had to wait another 2hrs for them to add to cake what we ask for over a week ago... Then when we receive the cake it wasn't made like we asked! Never again! I have ordered this same cake for 7years straight from other locations in the cake was made perfectly they paid attention to order in added all the mixed ins... The cake was perfect only this location have I had problems! So if you want your orders straight in done right please don't order from this location! Highly constantly...

This place is very diverse and I absolutely loved it. But... The service was slow and too much time was spent on one customer. I noticed that there were two customers ahead of me and the server kept up an entire conversation even when the customer seemed to be uninvolved and uninterested in the servers conversation. After the customer left the server did not pay any attention nor acknowledge the remaining customers in the line. He walked to the back and moments later back to the front to fill the napkin dispenser, still with no acknowledgment. Its sad in this day and time my family and I felt it would be better to leave and say nothing at all than to complain and be viewed in a stereotypical sense. We waited in line before leaving 20 minutes with a total of 3 customers including myself, no huge orders before myself. Came in on 3/26/17 @5:55pm ,...
