The food was not bad at all. Also, they make good mangnado. But the downfall is that their service here is not that GREAT! Why I say this is because when we first arrived at the door. No one greeted us. They seened us but didn't let us know where to sit, so we stood by the door waited for 5 minutes. (They were not that busy) after that 5 minutes they just told us to sit down on a big round table by the door and they gave us the menus but the girl didn't ask us for drinks. After looking at the menu, there was a family that came in after us and got sat down right away and gotten menu and drinks first. We were done looking at the menu and waited to ordered and still we don't have our drinks. We were waiting for almost 10 minutes to get our food ordered, but the family that came after us got to order first. After they ordered the families ordered, they came to us to take our orders. When we got our food. We did get our drinks, but they do not know how to come check on their customers to see if they need anything. When u get ur food and u need more refills for drinks, you have to ask them. They are not coming to check on u if u need anything else. We asked for more water, and the girl said, "Oh? Smh, like seriously, please kindly treat your customers with profession. This will be my last time...
Read moreThe food was fine and the staff was friendly, but there were 2 things that ruined my experience there. The music was too loud, but what made it even more annoying was the staff talked loud on the phone at the table next to us. When his phone rang, the music would stop n he would answer the phone with the speaker phone on. Both the voices from him n the speaker phone were loud. It happened 3 times while we were eating. I'm not good in tolerating loud noise and therefore found it very annoying. Also, after the diners at a different table left, he took the unopened disposable chopsticks from the table and gave them to us. The chopsticks were given to the previous customers and were on the table, among other used napkins, utensils and leftover food. Even though the chopsticks were unopened, I found it was gross to pass them to the next customers. All disposable utensils given to the customers should be disposed after...
Read moreThis is what real pho tastes like. Having visited Vietnam—both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi—I can confidently say that Pho Hanoi serves the most authentic pho within at least a 50-mile radius. My bowl of choice is the Pho Tai.
Unlike many other restaurants, Pho Hanoi has stayed true to its Vietnamese roots, offering a genuine slice of life from Vietnam. The broth is rich, meaty, and deeply flavorful without being overly sweetened like you often find elsewhere. I truly appreciate the balance and depth of their flavor.
The restaurant is family-owned, and you can feel the care and pride they put into every bowl. The staff are kind and attentive, and their dedication shows in the consistency of their food.
I’ve been coming here regularly for a while now, and I plan to keep doing so for as long as I live in the area. Pho Hanoi is easily one of my favorite authentic spots in...
