DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Madison

I am going to start with they really need to update this so we dont have to give a star. I went in to return something was told I couldn't return it . I ask to see the sign that says all sales are final guess what they dont have one ! Well I then ask to speak to the manager above the so called manager I was talking to amd was told to call Monday they would be in then . I ask for the managers name i am talking with and she tells me Ashley . I tell her I have a sister thats a lawyer and I will speak with her about it because on things like this it has to somewhere say final sale . Ashley then tells me her sister is a lawyer to witch is funny but for a manager to run her mouth back to a customer is a poor chose in a manager . I leave and get to my car and forgot to ask Ashley her last name so I called to ask to be hung up on bye her ! I then walk back in to try to find out where i wait a couple of minutes and she's nowhere to be found so I start to leave when I am stopped by a regular employee and she goes did you just take something ? I said excuse me what i said you can come over here and check she said oh I can't do that . No you can't I have been a manager before and just an regular employee can't even ask the question you just asked me that is profiling me because of what just happened between your so called manager and me ! We use to spend a good bit of money in here! I know one thing i am putting my foot down for everyone that goes in here and is followed or...

This morning I had 5 star above and beyond service from Dick's Sporting Goods on the Eastside of Madison WI. I was crunched for time to buy new work shoes for my job at UW Hospital, so I called ahead on my drive there. Faith who answered the phone was was polite and and answered all my questions before transfering me to Brew in the shoe department. I explained EXACTLY what I was looking for and needed. When I arrived, Brew had 6 pairs of shoes laid out and ready for me to try on. I had limited time and made a bit of a mess with shoes and boxes. Brew was nothing but helpful and accommodating. I asked him if he worked on commission, and he told me he did his job out of the kindness of his heart and to help people. The service and efficiency was 5 star +. I will HIGHLY recommend Dicks' to ALL my friends for there Sporting goods needs. Ya'll came through in a pinch, much love to the staff. Keep...

I would not recommend buying a bike from this store. I purchased a hybrid bike for someone as a gift and the service was not good. They found that the chain was rubbing the derailer during their "inspection" and kept the bike an extra three days to fix it (no big deal). But then after I picked it up (when they said it was ready) we took it out and had not only problems with the "fixed" chain, but also had brakes rubbing, and one tire improperly mounted. When returning the bike they said they don't take returns because of the 90 day warranty, and they would just fix it...again. After arguing that I didn't want them to fix it they did refund me my money, and said that the bike was just going to be thrown in the dumpster. So in short if they would rather throw a bike in a dumpster than fix it and sell it again, would you really feel great spending hundreds to buy one from them? I'm...
