Sharetea Morton Grove — Restaurant in Niles Township

This is hands down the best boba tea spot in all of Chicago…..I take that back.

Anywhere!

That one star review is “trippin”, no cap. Anybody that gives this place less than five stars. Either lost their 5 senses (sight, sound, smell, taste and touch) during Covid or is a hater…but like Katt Williams said, we all need haters and a haters job is to hate.

I am from the boba state of the U, S, of A…..California (San Francisco Bay Area). I have been to all the boba places you can think of, Northern California, down to Southern California.

I have actually been to several ShareTea locations, in the San Francisco Bay Area. My drinks and experiences from ShareTea were always good. However, they were never in my “go to”, boba places.

After, visiting this Morton Grove location for the first time with my family, this has changed.

As soon as you walk into the shop, you can feel the great energy and vibes. This place was clean and the staff were welcoming and on point.

I ordered the blended Halo Halo drink and my life has not been the same since. For those who aren’t Filipino or don’t have Filipino friends. This is not a role playing fighting game or what angels wear on their heads…although I felt like I was in heaven after taking a sip of this drink. Have you ever had something so good…that you looked at it…took a sip or ate it…looked at it again and just was in a happy place.

Yup, that was me.

I am back in California and was looking to get the blended Halo Halo drink again. To my sadness, it is not offered at the locations near me. I guess the Morton Grove location is the only place you can taste this drink, at the moment. I will have to wait until I am back in Illinois again, in a couple of months.

I shouldn’t have leaked this information and kept this a secret, to enjoy for myself, before it blows up and everyone will want to try this blended Halo Halo drink.

If you love boba make your way down to Share Tea in Morton Grove. It’s been a while since I’ve had really good boba and my craving was totally fulfilled. We ordered the Strawberry Blended with Ice Cream and Matcha Green Tea w/crema. It did NOT disappoint. I went in for the Match, but also saw the Halo Halo drink that I absolutely have to come back for. I’ve been to Share Teas in different states and never saw this one on the menu.

Visited Sharetea on July 5, 2025, and enjoyed their refreshing drinks—ice blended strawberry with lychee jelly and ice cream, Oreo ice blended with pearls, and a golden retriever.

Each one hit the spot, especially on a hot summer day. The flavors were vibrant, and the textures (jelly, pearls, and creamy blends) made the experience fun and satisfying.
