The Great American Bagel — Restaurant in Niles Township

Really ? This place is under a new management or maybe he was just there when my family went in this weekend. They don’t prepare anything like there Belmont location in Lakeview . Wanted to charge $14.00 for a vegan friendly meat free option for my husband. They have done before at this location. This guy had no clue what we were asking . His other assistants were slow as well . In 10 minutes we were still trying to explain what were needed . Left frustrated. They lost our business. A family of 5 who were very hungry. Had to go to DD instead on Sat breakfast brunch with the kids . Disappointed to say the least. Bring back the other manager who understands not everyone wanted meat on there bagels . Plus not over charge there customers. I give 2 stars since the place...

I went to this Great American Bagel location because they were listed as having food available for pickup in Too Good To Go which is an app. So when I walked in to this business which was empty and closing in 15 minutes the lady behind the counter asked to see the app so I showed her the code she then told me to swipe the app to confirm food pickup which I did. After I swiped the app she asked me where did the circle go as if to say why did I swipe the app. I explained to her that this is typically how the process works but she started yelling at me and she said that she's the one that's supposed to swipe the app and she said " I'll give you the bag this time but next time I'm supposed to do it" She was extremely rude and clearly hated her job. I will never go...

I forgot how nice it is to pamper myself with a "fresh" bagel and cream cheese after many years of grocery store bagels and Philadelphia cream cheese tubs. Great selection of cream cheeses (my initial reason for stopping in because I forgot it 5 minutes earlier at the grocery store). But the bagels were fantastic. My old roommate used to own a bagel shop so I have had extensive experience. Also an impressive selection. Lots of other things here to start a morning off right and I saw many performing their daily ritual with big smiles on...
