I went in, we buy bread here numerous times. BUT!!!! Today I went in grabbed a new piece of bread I wanted to try and it had a COCKROACH on the bread. I grabbed and told the woman there was a COCKROACH on the bread still holding it with the tongs and she still did not seem bothered by it and even said was I sure while staring at it in plain sight!!! She then asked me what did I want to do about it?? I told her well obviously throw it away it was crawling all over the piece. Then I said also wanted to throw the other pieces I got from that same kind of bread and she seemed bothered by that! But honestly how can you guarantee it wasn’t crawling all over the rest of the same bread? I doubt the cockroach was sticking to that one piece. I am so annoyed with how they dealt with that situation, I didn’t even get an apology. I get that sometimes you can control those pests but geez at least seem interested in what is happening!! They are selling food and I can now think it has for sure happened before and they seem to not care for it. I know I am not okay with eating bread with a side of cockroaches. Will not be dealing...

The bread from Alfapan smelled so good but I just did not want to take the risk of walking up past the loitering man with my child in tow. Bummer. Panhandling is illegal on private property but it seems to happen frequently. I went to Alfapan a few days later when the man was gone. Good bread....
