Upon entering the store, you're let inside by a loss prevention guard in full costume, who opens a little line barrier to let you in. The store is littered with signs about shop lifting, the bathroom requires a key code, the changing room is closed, and closed circuit TV cameras on every corner remind you they mean business. There's probably 25 to 50 signs reminding folks they prosecute shoplifters. Mind you, no other store in this town has this level of security. Read moreThis store has been open less than a month, and it’s already clear they weren’t ready. Only one register open, with a line stretching down one of the main aisles. Multiple customers walked out after waiting too long.
It’s just like the East Hartford location—skeleton crew, poor management, and no urgency. Why install multiple registers if you have no intention of staffing them? It’s a frustrating experience and a terrible way to run a business.

Security at the front door greeted everyone and was very friendly, but the full protective gear she was wearing (bulletproof vest) was a pretty uninviting. Bathrooms are locked, so you need to get assistance if you need to use them.
