I love shopping here! They have really nice items, reasonably priced, except for the clothes which were a little pricey but felt like good material, which is rare these days, so I understand! I found a sugar free Nutella (different brand) and I actually like it more than the real Nutella, especially since I need to watch my glucose intake. They have sugar free syrups as well that you can use in cocktails or coffee, too! Nice selection of fair trade/ethically sourced dark roast coffee that they can grind for you there. I actually chatted with two cashiers, very nice girls. The furniture looks great and very stylish yet sturdy and long-lasting. They have a good selection of candles. And they have a huge selection of snacks from around the world. I like chips and candy from Japan and Central/South America because it has more flavor or nice kick to it 🌶️ and they have a large selection of stuff to choose from, if you're like me. Lots of sales going on currently. I always come back for the sugar free Nutella but I try to try something new every time I go. I'm hoping to get a ceramic pot next time I go, they have them! The pics I have are random because I wasn't taking them with writing a review in mind. Also, I thought the stop sign was pretty hilarious. Idk who's face is the sticker but we had a good laugh while...
Read moreFirst off I judge the actual shopping and inventory a store has... I don’t care about how many employees did or did not approach me for help. I couldn’t care less- if I need help I’ll find it.
That being said I was traveling almost 50 miles to go to the world market in Framingham MA... I am so So SO ecstatic they decided to put one in Manchester CT. It is literally one of my favorite stores and my husband enjoys it too which is great. It’s not just a woman’s decor shop guys 😉
I have friends and family from all over the place, and in the grocery section they have found things that they haven’t seen in _ years/ since I visited _/ etc... you get the idea.
World Market has that “I can’t believe I found that- must buy it now” feeling, almost like a TJMaxx or Marshall’s or Homegoods. I find something new every time I go in and find all of my old favorites.
Seriously give this store a shot, chances are you won’t be...
Read moreWorkers really need to work on their customer service skills. Not very inviting, I visited there few weeks ago with my daughters, I spent $180 dollars and the guy ringing me up was very rude didn’t address me just stood there. The other cashier had to say he can help you over here ma’am. And he never answered my question about my membership and discounts when I entered my phone number. All he asked over and over was cash or charge and I stood there looking at him then just swiped my card. Even my daughters wondered what his issue was. They helped me put my items in a bag he just shoved them towards me with no attempt at putting them in my bags. When you spend money at an establishment you would like to be treated nicer. I wrote an email to customer service but has gone unanswered. Very...
