When we first started Kidstrong in August of 2022 they were under different management. I could never get a hold of anyone via email, call, or text. Th coaches were great but unfortunately the things we needed help with as parents they couldn't assist with. The communication was awful and very frustrating. However, the coaches were very good though. they would pay attention to the kids, they got to know them, they cared about their form when performing the exercises and wanted to make sure they did it right. They took pictures, I could see the self-discipline and confidence in my son increase.
Fast forward they are under new management and the communication has gotten better (more timely) but still not great. For one I always feel like a bother when I have an issue/question. For 2 we will discuss something as well as a solution but then the solution never happens, probably forgotten about, I get it they are busy however when I come to bring the issue up again, I'm met with annoyance because the solution you're giving me now 2 weeks later is what we talked about doing 2 weeks ago and it wasn't done. I'll never understand how you're annoyed when someone who pays for a membership has questions, no matter how many, especially because I'm always respectful. Outside of that I feel like it has turned into urban air. I'm not seeing much correction for the kids to ensure the movements are done correctly, it's more so turned into letting the kids run around to get their energy out with no rhyme or reason. I love this concept and even with my issues recommend it to almost every parent I come into contact with that has a child my son's age or younger. However, I'm starting to feel like we are just a number, the structure of the classes has declined and it's a high turnover rate for coaches. I really want to stay because my son loves it but we will have to see if it...
Read moreThis place is amazing! My son started about two months ago and ofcourse with it being summer and a Saturday a lot of kids are on vacation so some times itâs just my son in class. Honestly he doesnât even notice, these coaches gather together and do everything with him, he enjoys their attention and the fun way they make exercising into a game so he doesnât realize heâs even doing it. Instead of just instructing him to do things they gather together and create the class with him, my son is the kind of kid who has anxiety about doing things on his own, this class has built so much of his confidence and continues to help him with communication. As a parent I love the fact that they participate with him knowing that they donât have to do this. My son has been in other activities before trying kidstrong and usually when the class is falling short he definitely feels it, instead he is excited to come to class every Saturday and he has genuinely bonded with every coach he has met at this location. They are skilled in talking to kids as if they are just an equal human, you can see the confidence grow in him from the beginning to the end of the class as they engage in conversation interesting to him and make him feel that they are equally as interested. Overall this class is more than just physical activity, it is a family youâre joining, they have taught him some sign language, they teach him new words and some really fun games we have done at home because heâs loved...

KidStrong might look like the holy grail of kidsâ activities with its flashy marketing and promises of building little champions, but let me save you the headache: your kid can get the same "life-changing skills" by climbing the jungle gym at your neighborhood park â for free.
Hereâs the deal: once they get you to commit, theyâre more interested in charging your card than accommodating your familyâs needs. If your schedule changes or life happens (as it does with kids), youâre out of luck. Theyâll happily keep collecting your money while offering you absolutely nothing in return.
Now, I will say there are a few awesome coaches (Coach Jade, you rock!), but some of the others? Letâs just say they donât exactly leave you feeling like this program is worth $119/month for one measly class a week. Spoiler alert: itâs NOT.
Save your money, take your kid to the park, and maybe buy them an ice cream afterward. Same results, way less stress. My husband and I are former Division 1 athletes, so trust me when I say your child will be just fine without this overpriced...
