Manny from Xpress Delivery did a fantastic job delivering the couch on Saturday, July 26th. He also provided us with some tips and tricks for getting the couch into our house. Out of this whole experience, I highly recommend Manny from Xpress Delivery.

Looking back, I wish I had spent the extra money to purchase this couch from another store. There are many on the same block as this Ashley Furniture store. This would have saved me a lot of time and headaches. Since getting my couch, Liz has tried calling me six times, left two voicemails, and sent me three texts between 8:48 PM on July 26th and 2:26 PM on July 27th asking me to change or update my review. Save yourself the headache and choose one of those other stores.

Up until Ashley Furniture received my money, they provided me with quality service. Once they received my money and things went wrong, they were neither helpful nor interested in assisting me. Jolene helped us purchase a couch and ottoman on Tuesday, July 22nd, with delivery for Friday, July 25th. Awesome! She was friendly and got us in and out quickly. Jolene set us up to have Ashley Furniture deliver the new couch to my house for free. Then things went south. Throughout Wednesday and Thursday, I did not receive any updates from Ashley Furniture regarding our three-hour delivery window on Friday. I thought this was no big deal because we had just made the arrangements two days prior. Friday morning arrived and still no word from Ashley Furniture about our three-hour delivery window. I finally called Ashley Furniture to inquire about the status. The lady on the phone looked at my information and said, “You are scheduled today to pick up the furniture yourself and not delivery. I will transfer you to the person who sold the couch to you”. I was then transferred to Jolene, who reviewed the transaction and realized she had not actually scheduled our delivery. Jolene stated she would need to discuss this with her boss and then would get back to me. Four hours later, I still had not heard back from her. So I had to call again and ask what was going on. The delivery and payment representative had no clue we had called and no idea that Jolene was attempting to correct this mistake. The Delivery and Payment representative told me she would look into trying to accommodate us and would call me back within about 30 minutes. I am still waiting on that callback 2 hours later.
No one ever simply said to us, “Sorry for our mistake, let us make this right for you”. Everyone just said, “Let me see what's going on” and never responded back to me. I, now, have no furniture to sit on in my living room because I prepared for a new couch for today, I am out of a day of my time from having to make several calls throughout the day, and now I have to clear another day next week to wait for delivery. If the couch we bought was not such a good deal, I would get my money back and spend it with another company that values me as a customer. Read moreSo thrilled with our mattress buying experience today! There was not a single bed in the store Lizzie couldn't tell you everything about. We have been shopping for a mattress for a few weeks and I had done a ton of research and knew I wanted a Nectar set. The fine (no) folks across the street pushed us toward a much more expensive set that both my husband and I didn't love but they had me questioning everything with absolutely no reasons as to why. I'm SO grateful that my entire being told me to step back and not make a decision no matter how badly they pushed, promised, or pestered. Walking in to Ashley three days later was a complete different experience. Lizzie made sure we tried as many as we wanted and as many times as we wanted. She made sure we had the right pillows for our sleeping position and answered every single question we had and so many more that we would never even think of to ask. She is a professional through and through but also makes you feel like you're not in a dentist chair with your mouth wide open. She got us in to a King size superior mattress with a deluxe adjustable base, two pillows perfect for us, a mattress pad, and a 10 year warranty for almost 2k less than we were quoted for a queen and basic adjustable base less than 100 yards and a small parking lot away. I'm very excited because we also are looking at a new living room set and now knowing we have somewhere we can go that we can trust the pricing and staff means I don't need to do so much research and I can just let them know what we are looking for and then lean on their knowledge. Read moreExcellent, I entered the doors and looked at the ad for 5 seconds and went on in to track down the one couch I was looking for. I knew the journey through the neatly placed jungle of couches and chairs would be long and it would be hard to locate that one diamond we were digging for but out of nowhere the helpful store clerk scampered over and offered his knowledge of this new and strange world to my family. He led us over the mountains and through the woods to the beautiful couch we wanted. There he gave us all the info we could ever want to know, and left us for a bit to discuss how much we truly enjoyed the couch. OK so in all seriousness Marcus Coker was excellent, extremely helpful, and very nice, giving us plenty of time to think it over and also not leaving us too long that we got discouraged and walked away. We glanced at a few other couches sat in one or 2 but ultimately we chose that first comfy beautiful couch. Along the way we got to meet Mario Walden, another of Ashley's finest employees. Mario was very nice showed us how the couch reclined (never seen it inside the couch before) and in the end helped ring us up. he was not pushy about adding a ton of stuff to our purchase and made sure we had no questions answered the ones we had and was very very pleasant when i had to split the charges on 2 cards. gave me solutions to any issue I had and now we are excited to have our very first piece of brand new freshly bought from the store reclining couch. I was very pleased with the selection and the employees here they are fast to help and not pushy I would recommend going here, and I will return if i ever need another piece of furniture...
