This was a bad experience. This almost ruined an event with my daughter yesterday. It was gonna be her sweet 16 and we’ve decided to look this place up to request the service of makeup and hair. We would drive past it and see that the building and inside looks like a professional salon, but from what I have went through yesterday, there’s nothing professional about this place! At least with the person who I have booked the service with.(Ashley and her partner). First, it was my makeup. Absolutely horrible. This poor young lady did not know what she was doing with my face and kept asking me questions as if I have to guide her step by step on how to do her job. My face ended up breaking out after I went home and I cleaned it off and got a good friend mine to do my makeup way better and doesn’t even do makeup for a living.(I wish I would show the ladies the pictures of me and my daughter after my friend did our makeup so it advises them on how to do their job!). Next, my poor daughters hair. Absolutely awful!! My daughter requested her hairstyle with a professional picture which we were hoping it would end up well done like it should be when going to a beauty salon. Instead, she ended up having her hair absolutely nothing like how she asked for. (What she got done was a basic everyday style that she does on a daily basis on her own and EVEN BETTER) Not to mention, she burned my poor daughter’s ear which is so unprofessional and unacceptable. Sorry’s will not fix the damage that’s already done. We were there for almost 3 hours just to end up with this disaster and I’m so glad they did nothing else with me and my daughter AND my other two daughters. And to top this whole awful experience they still had the audacity to charge me $130 with this service when I couldn’t get the benefits of what I have paid for since I ended up getting it redone for me and my daughter. I managed to wrap everything up 2 HOURS before the event started because these ladies wasted my precious time. Not happy, was told I didn’t need to come back for my 2nd appt. I was confused because everything I have read has said brows are a 2 step process- 1. Building the base 2. The “perfecting” appt. After sending Cindy a picture she said I was good. I told her there were some areas that I would like touched up, and she said I could touch them up with make-up! I did this to not use make-up. She then said to come back at a later date, it didn’t make sense to pay for minor touch-ups. Pay? Yes, my 2nd “perfecting” appt is going to be $150 more. I was never told this, again even Cindy’s post says that the first appt is to build the base, the second is to perfect and put back what fell out or didn’t hold. I have talked to other providers and they were surprised to hear all this- because the second appt is the most important and shocked she told me to use make-up. I would not recommend Cindy. I am not happy, and have found someone else to “perfect” my brows. My biggest issue was not communicating the 2nd appt charge, I was told touch- ups in the future were $150, and would be around 12-18 months. Everyone, this is the way salon and spa services should be delivered from this point on in a post Covid-pandemic environment. Each practitioner has their own little separate studio about the size of a typical office, with separate sliding glass doors. It is almost jaw-dropping walking through and seeing all the different little services in small separate rooms you can patronize. Because you are in a small office-sized room with the practitioner alone, this is the safest way to have services such as hair, nails, massage, waxing, brows, botox, etc. Each practitioner has taken time and care to make their space beautiful, inviting, and well decorated.I don't think I can ever go into a traditional salon or spa and have my services done. Really, this is the future! Separate salon and spa suites! Also, since all of the practitioners there have a successful business on their own with their own customer following, these are the best practitioners in the area. I see Carole Jean there.
