My boyfriend and I were in a wedding together and I went with him to his tuxedo fitting appointment. They measured him for a button-down under shirt, a vest, the tuxedo jacket, pants and shoes. Upon getting ready for wedding photos on the day of the ceremony, Tyler's vest was missing a button and did not fit, nor did his button-down shirt. They were both entirely too small. Tyler made a call to the store we rented from and the manager told him he could meet him half way to the ceremony with a new shirt. This was two hours before the ceremony and the Best Man could NOT leave the venue at this time. Upon returning Tyler's ensemble to the store two days after the wedding myself, I made them aware of the situation. These items not fitting could have been addressed had they had Tyler try on every single item he was fitted for the day he was supposed to pick up the items. I was told the manager, Phil, would contact me about this issue soon. Days go by and I do not get a call. I wound up calling several times myself asking for Phil each time and I was always told he was not available or was not at the store that day. I eventually asked if I could make an appointment when he would be in so I could personally speak with him and was told that was not possible. Phil had offered us a $25.00 refund on an over $160 rental and I did not feel that was sufficient as half of the clothing items did not fit like they were supposed to. The wedding was on August 25th, and as of today, September 29th, 2018 I still have not received a phone call from Phil regarding my issue. I always had to call the store myself to get an update on my complaint. If you rent from this company, I highly suggest making sure you try on every single item of clothing you are renting before you walk out and just assume it will fit. That's what the employees did with Tyler's rental and he was so uncomfortable for the length of time he was wearing it. Also expect to never get a hold of a manager if you do wind up having an issue. I will never understand why a manager would not want to help a paying customer and resolve an issue with their business. As of two weeks ago I was told Phil was out for emergency surgery and had an expected return date the following Monday, September 17th. I did not receive a phone call that day, again, so I called on the 18th to see if he was back in. I was told he would be out for a while and that a message would be given to him to ask him to call me from his cell phone while he had down time. They messed up all the guys stuff. Shirts were not right sizes, no suspenders, no ties.
Made Jacob drive up to Maryland heights because didn’t have correct sizes when he went back because it was too small 2 of the flower people stuff did not fit what’s so ever and again no suspenders and no ties. WENDIE the worker told us to come back for a refund on Monday. I went there and talked to the other worker working Terra. She was lovely and tried to help as much as she could. But had to call the Maryland heights location because that’s where the manger one. Took us 25 minutes to get ahold of the manger named Phil. First he was helping someone, then went to the bathroom and then a meeting different excuses. The worker Terra was getting frustrated. So then she called the store again and WENDIE answered and got very snippy with Terra and then decided she wanted to talk to me. Started with a attitude and screaming at me on the phone saying she did not say that about the refund when 3 people heard her say it. Phil gets on the phone finally with a attitude. Has the audacity to call me dumb and I’m ridiculous because I know nothing about Tux rentals. HAVE IT ON RECORDING. Hopefully I can find a corporate number. So STALLONES. Shame on you for very POOR customer service, and talking to customer and even your own worker. Poor girl was almost in tears.
