UPDATE: After contacting 'Corporate' and speaking to the 'Regional Store Manager', I have been informed that if you have your receipt or are an Insider Perks Member (where your purchases are recorded) or your original method of payment... there is N.O. "limit on returns, within a lifetime." So....isn't it shocking that Robbie/Front End Cashier Manager does not know the 'Corporate' policy that issues her paycheck??? Pure N.A.S.T.Y. Read the reviews for this store....you will note the SAME people mentioned and the same nasty attitude toward paying customers........so.....email (bottom of their website) Corporate for documentation and post a review on Google!!!!!!
Matthews - 10101 E Independence Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28105 Today, Saturday, February 8, 2025, we were publicly embarrassed and humiliated by the woman store manager named Robbie. We recently purchased a new home and we are excited to decorate it by patronizing (ie: to be a regular customer and support a business by making purchases there) the At Home store located in Matthews, NC. We are "Insider Perks" members of the corporation and have spent in the thousands over the years - not including Garden Ridge purchases. In the last 3.5 months, we have spent over $2,000++ on decorations for our new home. There have been times when we have purchased items, and they simply did not work for us. They were returned in their original packaging EXACTLY how we left with them from the store. There have been times when we have forgotten our 20% off / coupon(s), and Robbie conveyed that we would have to come back with the coupon, for which we did. Still purchasing the SAME EXACT items, but now with 20% off. Still left with the SAME merchandise. Today, we were returning bedding and pillows that did not work for us. The cashier had to call "Robbie," over because she needed a " key" for the return. Robbie comes busting in, pushes the cashier out of the way and says out loud, "don't you know there is a limit on returns". She then says to the cashier, "it should of told you right there." We were taken aback and I asked in her SAME ENERGY, "is that comment for us." Robbie continues in a loud voice, "YES!!!" "you return more than you buy". "There is limit on how many times you can return". I said..."what?"....in a lifetime?" She looked at me with pure hatred while she was wheezing and coughing all over everything. She said again "you return more than you buy". I said "that is not true and I am calling Corporate". Robbie said "go ahead" I said, "you smoke more than you work". EVERY SINGLE TIME we go to this store, Robbie is outside to the left of the front doors smoking. Then she comes in wreaking of an ashtray, stands in the front, and points. HORRIBLE role model. READ the reviews of this store - read them!!! It is FACT. CORPORATE DO...

If you want to purchase some decor items for your house I would definitely recommend coming to At Home because they will definitely have what you need. My family and I love this store becaue their products are affordable and good quality. Also some of the items like pictures, mirrors, decor pillow I have never seen anywhere else.
In addition, At home offeres a reward program that anybody could join. Their reward program provides promotions throughout the year and for your birthday they give you a gift of 15% off your entire order.
Another aspect that I like about At Home is that the store is very clean and the workers are nice and welcoming. Furthermore, the store offers a huge parking lot; this means you never have to worry about finding a parking spot. As well as a huge selection of items that you can choose from inside the store.
I would definitely recommend At Home to anyone who wants to add some new touches to thier house or dorm room. I will definitely be coming back to At Home because I also have a...
Read moreThey wanted my email more than they wanted my money. I've been shopping here since it opened, I've never had a problem with not offering my email. Today that all changed. I spent about an hour finding some items that I wanted. When I approached the cashier he asked me for my phone number, which I offered. Then said he had to confirm my account and asked for my name, which I told him. He then asked for my phone number again, I told him. Then he asked for my email and I said no. He said we have to have it. I said no, that was invasive (I definitely don't want the emails from them). " Will you take my money?" I asked. "We have to have it (email)." So I walked away and left the items I had selected. I could hear him say "geeze" as I was walking out the door. Funny, that's exactly what I was thinking! Update: Thank you to the customer care department for your reply. It requires that I respond by email. If I did, then I would be going against my position of not...
