Lakeshore Learning Store — Local services in Matthews

I’ve visited the store multiple times and I consistently get great service from everyone.

However, I would like to share multiple exceptional experiences I’ve had with Courtney in the Matthews store.

In February and yesterday she was a life saver for me. The father of 3 boys and a girl, it is my desire for them to excell and do well in everything they do. Overwhelmed, I met Courtney an experienced 5th grade teacher in the Union County school system.

It was so refreshing to speak with someone who has a passion for educating not just students but their parents as well. I left the store with not only the right products but the right information to best support my son.

I came in for my daughter to participate in the beehive making arts & crafts project. When it was over I browsed the store and noticed the round woman with a low hair cut kept finding her way near me, wherever I was in the store. After picking out two workbooks to purchase, I got online. The round woman was working the third register, and slowly made her way back to her post as a lined formed. I was next to be checked out, but she never called me to the register. she stood there pretending to busy herself. DISCRIMINATION IN ACTION!!! Me and my sister went to this store . While we were checking out, this horrible cashier named Jennifer, lashed out on my sister with her commanding loud voice and pointing finger on my sister“ go learn where the line starts” !!!!! My sister wasn’t sure where the line started because she was tired and barely speaks English and she felt horrible and discriminated. So she put her item back that she was going to purchase and walked out of the store crying. I never seen such a cruel attitude toward immigrants.
