Do not support this small business. They do not need to be in business. The staff act friendly and helpful but truthfully are arrogant and not helpful in correcting their mistakes. The owners are liars and give horrible customer service. All they do is apologize for failing in fixing watches and then do not follow through in their promises. My wife and I dropped off four watches to be repaired over a month ago. As of 7-19-2025 nothing has been serviced or fixed. Mr. Gray, his wife and son have repeatedly told us they would call us back about what the four watches needed and have failed to do so every time (4 times). Originally when we dropped the watches off close to closing time on a Saturday we were told everything would be ready by the following Wednesday. They did not meet the date promised. When we finally were able to reach them in the phone Mr. Gray apologized for the breakdown in communication and assured us this is not how he does business. Then promised he would have answers in a couple of day and that he would update us on July 7. To which we did not receive a call as promised. Between my wife and I we left three messages later in the week. We are still waiting on a return phone call to those messages. We were trying to be patient and give Gray jewelers a chance and figured they might have been busy. Finally after no return call we drove over to see if they were open and saw a note in the window that they were on vacation. This left us confused as to how they knew they were going to close for vacation and still promised us a call. So finally I call and get Mr. Gray in the phone on 7-18-2025. He is very apologetic and says he will have the watches completed by Saturday at 2:30 and call me. He tells me everything is in good condition and should be in working order by Saturday at 2:30. Still no call on Saturday as promised. So my wife and I go to the shop and are informed by his son that no work has been completed and that my Movado needs a movement. I told them it wasn't keeping time and it probably needed a movement when it was dropped off a month ago. Well after Mr. Gray assured me yesterday that it is in great shape and won't need a movement today a month after it was dropped off I am informed it needs a movement.    Read moreI wouldn't even give one star, but was forced to give a rating. I sent a pair of sunglasses in to be repaired for a patient from our practice located in Michigan in March. When calling to check on the status of the repair in April, I was given a tracking number and informed it was shipped. When tracking the package status the label had been created but not received by the postal service. I called the office several times and was told the person in charge of shipping is not in, the package was physically given to our mail carrier, call back another day, etc. I spoke to the owner Wayne and he assured me this was the fault of the mail service as the package was handed directly to their mail carrier. Meanwhile, the patient is calling us inquiring on her sunglasses. Since we were the one that mailed them in for repair, we were held responsible for missing glasses. I spoke to Wayne about replacing the sunglasses for the patient and he agreed to pay 50% of the cost. I emailed the invoice to him on June 13, resent on July 20 and spoke to Wayne via telephone on July 21 and have yet to receive any payment. I would not recommend doing business with someone that lacks the integrity to follow through with an agreement. BEST PART the Jeweler/Gemologist can bring your vision of diamonds, gold & platinum to life. He makes custom jewelry. I searched for years to find an earring I wanted for my birthday. Yes, he made it for me, and it turned out PERFECT! This earring was very unique, and I received nothing but compliments when I wore it. I never took it out, so it wasn't surprising that a diamond came out. It was a teardrop diamond one not easily replacable. I know because I had taken it to 3 other jewelry shops to get fixed. Due to me moving 3 hours away, I was trying to avoid the drive back to McDonough. I decided to take my earring back to the master that made it. I'm so glad I did, their customer service is unmatched. The owner and his employees treat me like they value me as a person, not the value on my credit card. It doesn't matter what I went there for glasses or jewelry, nothing but respect.
