Unknowingly purchased damaged merchandise. Tried to exchange it immediately the following morning after noticing the imperfection/damage on the garment. Not once was it advertised as "damaged merchandise". Clerk text messaged owner and owner responded that I could only exchange it for another sale item. Unfortunately, all remaining sale items were plus sizes and there was nothing in my size to make an exchange with. I even asked if there were accessories on sale to look at. I never wanted my money back, just an exchange for non damaged merchandise. The owner was instructing the sales clerk via text during the entire experience in the boutique. I decided to dispute with my bank. Once the boutique owner received the dispute from my bank, the response changed. I was told that if I canceled the charge back that they would exchange the merchandise. She even mentioned in her email she would send my bank a video of me leaving the store with the item. I was told charge backs hurt the business and they would exchange my item. I never questioned whether I had received the item, but I did not know I was buying something that was damaged. I canceled the charge back and am now being told by bank still has a form to submit. I have sent retailer the documents via email from bank. My bank states they have completed everything on their end. The owner keeps reminding me of her sick child (which is awful and prayers for healing) and that is why this issue didn't get addressed correctly in the beginning, but she was messaging the clerk working at that time with me standing there, so now I am just being lied too. I won't be shopping here again, I actually had my "eye" on a couple of other items and was able to find them online through June Adel and they were cheaper.

Thanks for a nightmare of a shopping experience. Any reputable retailer would have exchanged the damaged item...

I can’t even begin to tell you what a safe space Grady Ln is. I love shopping here and a LOT of my cute tops are from here. Every time I go in it doesn’t matter who is working I’m greeted with the friendliest and most welcoming women who are so helpful and up-lifting. If you need advice on how to style something in the store these ladies will gladly help you. They are so complimentary and lovely. Not only is there great clothes but also cute stickers, cute cups, cute accessories, home decor, etc, YOU NAME IT! This place has it. I love the owner she is the absolute best and is the sweetest person you will ever meet. Don’t walk to this store but RUN! Grady Ln is size inclusive from sizes xs-5xl! It will be your weekly weekend shopping trip and the place you’ll want to bring all your friends too. This is literally my favorite store to shop at ever. Every single cute clothing item that I own is from this shop, and I ALWAYS get compliments on my outfits when I wear them out. This is the only boutique that I have ever been able to shop at due to my awkward body shape / clothing sizing, and the ladies that work here always make me feel so loved and so special when I shop with them. The owner is one of the sweetest people that I have ever met, and she makes sure to go out of her way to know how much she appreciates her customers.
