I don't understand why this place has good reviews. I went there with my daughter on a special night. I am a Korean mom and I know what authentic Korean dishes are. What they served there was very strange combination of law fish in a hot stone bowl. Koreans don't eat raw fish in a hot stone bowl. I checked the menu and realized that they don't know about Korean dishes. Maybe that's why there were no Korean customers besides us. Also, the salad was very salty. I thought their house dressing might be salty. so, I asked the server if I can get new salad without dressing. when I got the bill, I got charged $19 for Bulgogi instead of $18. I checked the menu again and the price for Bulgogi was $18. I felt so bad, I don't think it is simply a mistake since they use POS system. I felt like I got charged for new salad without telling me even though it was so salty. I told the server that if you wanted to charge me for another salad, you should have told me that and make it clear on the bill as salad charge. They should not change the price different with menu. It was very unpleasant dinner at this place on my special night. If you like to enjoy authentic Korean dishes, go to Korean...
Read moreA truly satisfying, authentic and unique experience here at this sushi place, everything was amazing! I got the Unagi Bento Box, which had eel, deep fried melon, sweet potato, onion ring, a dumpling, one full California roll, and eel over rice with a seaweed salad and it was super filling. The sushi was flavorful, the eel was very rich, but not overpowering, the eel sauce on top was sweet with a true umami flavor, the meal came with a house salad with a very sweet dressing tasting similar to a mango sauce, it also came with miso soup which was very smooth. The quality of service was amazing, the waitress was very caring, respectful and helpful, the sushi master came up to us and asked us how the meal was and we thanked him a lot. All in all everything was amazing, satisfying and it brings true meaning to quality japanese food, it is about $20/person so a bit up there in price, but I promise you, it's very,...
Read moreKoji sushi was incredible!! Even though the place is on the smaller side it’s not cramped and they moved the tables at a good speed to get folks seated. The staff was all incredibly kind and helpful. Our table was always cleared of clutter or trash. The staff all worked together to make a great experience. The sushi was some of the best I have tried in Texas!!! I’m not joking - it was so good. I got two specialty rolls; one Koji fire roll, and the mango roll. The shape and size they make them is helpful for eating and the roll not falling apart. The flavors were incredible and fresh, no old or smelly fish taste, everything was crisp and with fresh fish. I can’t recommend this place enough, we came down from Fort Worth to buy a car and stopped in here to take a break from the process. You have to try it out!! We were so glad to stumble on such an incredible spot. Will return when we are back...
